I was going to say, you folk down south usually don't get much snow. My wife's aunt lives in Dallas, makes me wonder if her cousin who's in high school will be out of school because of the storm.
There's a high chance they will be. A lot of schools close their doors when the roads ice over.

Thankfully when I worked at Walmart, I never had this happen. About the closest thing that happened was a few lights in the dairy cooler not working properly, so half of the cooler was dark. It was a large cooler at least, but my co worker freaked me out since the part that wasn't lit up was where our claims were stored and she had to dump some yogurt she found out of the cooler and she walked up from that part of the cooler as I was stocking milk lol.
It was freaky working in the dark. The blackouts started happening while customers were still in the store and they had to get them all out of there to prevent theft and whatnot. For about two or three days the employees continued working mostly in the dark.

Why did they go under?

Absolutely no idea, wouldn't have thought it was a profit issue with the amount they were charging! We're now essentially self-hosting at about 20% of the cost we were paying them to do it for us - obviously it does involve a bit more work on our (my) end really, but at least it means I'm valuable to them now and they can't get rid of me. :ROFLMAO:

Morning Administrata!

Good afternoon everyone! I got to leave work early today since we ran out of work to do. The mail didn't run today in honor of Jimmy Carter, and my work relies on the post office. So worked whatever trays of mail we had, and since we had compliance courses to take some people worked on them. I finished my courses yesterday because we ran out of work for a brief moment, so I got to leave early.

What type of services does your job provide exactly?

There's not much snow/ice today, but mainly slush. It's supposed to get more snowy later on.

We're a charity that offers support, advice & information to people in the UK who have some sort of involvement with the criminal justice system (whether as a victim, perpetrator or witness). Our justice system is at breaking point right now, so we're particularly busy in recent times.

Good Morning i am about to clock in at my job and it is peak season so it has been a absolute nightmare. I work remotely but still getting ready for this 11-8 Shift. Have a great day everyone.

How is everyone, plans for the weekend guys?

I've had a super busy week, starting off at work and then the last two days getting the house in order a bit, looking forward to going to watch Liverpool play Accrington Stanley in the FA Cup tomorrow (we're driving up overnight, about a six hour journey!)... I'm not looking forward so much to the journey back as it's not likely I'll get home before 9pm, and considering we're leaving at 3am... it's going to be a long one!

I am planning my next move. Playing 4D chess on a 3D board with a 2D landscape is less than ideal.
