I've forgotten that a few times with my own communities.

That's a big mistake a lot of administrators make, especially when they first open their forum. Having endless forums available, endless add-ons/scripts added, or having overly complex rules/guidelines. As they always say, it's best to start small and build your way up from there.

Yeah, it's like when they expect you to read the entire TOS of sites that are endless paragraphs long. That's why barely anyone reads the TOS, because it's too cumbersome.

Yea I don't bother even trying to read long TOS texts. If it was engaging and a little funny, perhaps. But long, multi page TOS text are just overwhelming.
