Tools Postloop and TheForumWheel

For recommendations or discussions about software or platforms that help with growth.
So I purchased a domain a couple of days ago, and put a forum on it to spark some interest. You can read about my "plan" to bring back Postloop here:

Postloop is coming closer.

I never was around when TheForumWheel was active, but I was a big fan of Postloop. I do hope you bring it back. I will add my forum to Postloop if you do.

I first came across Postloop in 2017 and decided to join because I was curious.. However I left because the owner only paid people through PayPal...

I was a part of Postloop as well as The Forum Wheel. However, I was just a writer, I did not have forum when these post exchange sites were active. The Forum Wheel still exists. However, it is no longer functional. I tried to submit my forum but I couldn't. I wrote to the support and I never got reply. As a writer on these post exchange sites, I was earning $180 per month when they were in the height of their glory. Since I did not use them as a forum owner, I can't say how forum owners thought about these sites but as a writer, they were a great platform to make money. I was also hired as a writer by a few forum owners and made extra money.

I think one of the major reasons for the downfall of these sites was low quality posting. Most of the posters were only interested in money, and they did not care about quality of their posts. Some people even posted the same posts on multiple forums.

I am not sure if anyone knows about Devin Farmer, who once created a platform similar to Postloop. It was called Posting Bay but sadly it did not survive.

I believe something like Postloop and The Forum Wheel can certainly be brought back but a lot of care should be taken for for writer's approval.

I've said elsewhere previously that Postloop was a big game-changer at the time and really helped promote forum use. Many forget that Postloop was initially designed as an "exchange" platform - not necessarily a "content order" service. Of course, it was primarily used for content ordering rather than exchanging, but that certainly wasn't Ryan's initial idea with it.

I was a very active, early contributor to Postloop, as I saw quickly how the revolutionary (at the time) technology being deployed to make it all work (automatic tracking of posts etc) was a big game-changer in the area at the time. I made some decent money from Postloop too.

I started to tail off using Postloop in around 2015 and don't really have any knowledge of what happened to it after that, other than that I went back to find it in around 2020 or so (lockdown times) and it was still there but completely dead - all the time I used it it was a pretty bustling hive of activity and I'm sure Ryan made a fair whack out of the site too.

I'd be really excited if something similar were to be brought back, and it'd be something I'd definitely be interested in being involved in.

I used PostLoop back then. In 2009 or 2010 I think. I think they were up and running for a couple of years. Their end-to-end integration using forum software add-ons, plus their dashboard made things smooth and seamless.

I got a few good posters who stuck around even after the post exchange. Same for me, I remember discovering a couple of cool communities that I posted on for credits, and then stuck around.
