Google is Goliath when it comes to web searching. It's so synonymous with searching the web that people even use the brand name as a verb; "Just Google it!" - "I googled them last night".
It's hard to imagine not having Google search available (because we all use it so widely) but do you think we'll see a time when someone (or something) will come along and knock them off the top spot? Do you think there's any chance that they'll eventually overstep the mark on people's privacy or data warehousing that governments will taken them down or break up the various divisions, leading to a reduction or collapse of their search service?
Or is Google going to be around for hundreds of years like many of the historical institutions that still exist today?
