I began writing as a means of relaxation from the stress of the day. It is a form of taking my mind off from the issues of life, and it has really helped me so much. Sometimes, I wonder how life would have been without my ability to write and communicate with others.

In my experience, I found that living with my family took a toll on my mental health due to the toxic environment. However, writing became my refuge and allowed me to navigate through these challenging times. I set up a personal website to pour out my thoughts and feelings. Through this, I was able to find clarity and understand myself better. Writing became my coping mechanism, especially during the challenges brought on by the peak of the coronavirus pandemic. It not only alleviated my anxiety and stress but also became a mindful practice that fostered my creativity. Writing is helpful, indeed. I strongly believe that writing can have the same positive impact on others, offering a chance to enhance mental well-being. If you are not a good writer, do not worry. Remember, practice makes perfect.
I actually started writing to battle depression. Whenever I was sad, I allowed the pen do the talking. That was in my growing up days. And before you know it, I was doing professional writing. When I write about my experiences, I leave it all on the piece and it helps my mental health positively.

Each day has it's own anxieties, however writing at the end of the day is a way of relieving one's stress. And if you don't have anyone to talk to, writing is recommended since your words never judge or misinterpret you.

 

Writing is a means of relaxation. You will always have something to write about at the end of the day. Right from early morning down to sunset things to write about will always abound, the people the places, there is always something to write about.

I don't use it to improve my mental health per se, but sometimes I have vented writing about a topic that is going around in my mind, writing can bring out feelings that you have inside and capture them in your writing, letting them out and can reduce stress, that's why so many people recommend writing a diary, in order to bring to light all those things that torment you in your day to day, but also those good things that are happening in your life.

I used writing to clear my mind in most cases. I discovered that it’s very possible to put pen to paper and gain strength during tough times by just writing.
