Nice move. Talking about the environment is one of the ways to flow with what you write. It is easier to do that instead of thinking deep for other ideas.

I have been honing my writing skills for over a decade, and I acknowledge that there is still room for improvement. Despite my experience, I occasionally make mistakes. To enhance my writing skills, I have adopted some methods. For instance, I watch English TV series with subtitles, allowing me to grasp how native English speakers communicate. In addition, I regularly read engaging articles and tutorials in English to expand my knowledge and understanding. Podcasts have also proven to be a valuable resource for improving my language skills. Although I do not frequently read books, I aspire to cultivate a love for reading in the future. Finally, I firmly believe that regular writing practice is indispensable for boosting my English proficiency. Remember, practice makes perfect.
One of the best ways to improve your writing skills is by constant practice. There are also writing courses you can pick up both free and paid ones. Reading books that help expand your vocabulary is also a major game changer. One thing that helped my writing skills to some extent is the number of books I read.
I make sure that I am constantly reading as a deliberate attempt to improve my writing skills. That helps me to build vocabulary across different genres and niches. I give myself a target of reading at least 5 books every month accross Sci-fi, romance, self help and fiction. I also have an app that suggests phrases everyday to me which I note to add to my word base. I also write book reviews on Online Book Club for free. I do that for their stringent editors to criticise and correct. That helps me to improve my writing based on those corrections.
There’s no magic pill that will improve your writing skill set. Just practice, practice and PRACTICE! The more you write, proof read your work, and read other publications the better your skill set will be.

You are absolutely correct. To keep writing is one of the best ways to improve your skills. It has helped people in the past, and I believe that it is still working perfectly okay. You can never get better as long as you are not willing to keep working on improving your writing skills.

Write on a daily basis. Have a note book and a pen with you always. Write about anything and everything, be aware of your surroundings and look for ways to generate stories from your daily experiences.

One way I do so is by making others go through my work, then ask them what they think. I will have 2 or 3 people read and ask them for constructive feedback, then work on it.
To improve your writing, practice regularly and read a variety of materials to learn different styles and techniques. Seek feedback from others to identify areas for growth and revise your work based on that input. Additionally, study writing resources or take courses to refine your skills further.
Keep on practicing and reading/studying is the only way to improve your writing. When you keep doing the same thing over and over again, you will definitely become good at it.
These days you don't need to bother about it because for this thing you can make use of AI and get best results.

Reading is also a way to improve your vocabularies and that is the angle that I like about writing. You get to the point where you can say that you are doing very good at becoming better at what you write.
