Anyone played any of the recent Call of Duty games?

 

I used to be a big fan of the series on the Xbox 360 when I was a teenager 10-15 years now (and for a short while on the Xbox One), I had a brief rekindling of my interest in the games during lockdown in 2020 and played a few games, but not since. Since I last played in late 2020 or early 2021 I think there's been 3 or 4 new Call of Duty releases, so, who's played them, and what did you think?

 

Personally, my favourite CoD of all time was the first Black Ops. I don't think it can be beaten for me in terms of the enjoyment I got from a game for so long.

I love Call of Duty, but due to me giving my PS4 to my brother and my gaming laptop dying, I can only play the mobile version. I have it installed on my iPhone now, but I seldom play it. I enjoyed playing the games, particularly on PC. Modern Warfare II was the latest game I bought when I had a working gaming PC. I can technically still play some of the games on my Google Chromebook using GeForce NOW, but I don't have the money for that.

 

I think the campaign I enjoyed the most was the original Modern Warfare 2.

Black ops was my favorite too! And MW3.

 

I frequently play the latest Black ops 6. It's fun, but not like in the good old days.

Why is that game so negatively reviewed on Steam?

Which one? There’s two, the 2011 and 2019.
