There's always the first one which each and every one of us started our social media journey with.

 

It's the first one which you created an account with and started engaging with others online. Do you still remember the first social media site you used?

Myspace was the first social media that I ever used. I also used Mocospace at one point.

MySpace, and I think I may have enjoyed it at the time. I never could adapt to Facebook.

I first signed up to Facebook in around 2008 or 2009 I think. I think I had briefly visited MySpace before Facebook, but I didn't sign up until much later so that doesn't really count! A couple of years after Facebook I discovered Twitter and then that became my main social media profile as I sort of fell out of using Facebook and found more of my friends and more interactions over on Twitter.

MySpace. It fell apart after Tom left.

 

Now, I'm stuck with the Zucc (Facebook).

Orkut it's a very old platform now closed. I think only aged people like me can remember that.

Myspace was the first one I used! Honestly it's better than Facebook ever was, the fact that you could customize your own profile and add CSS edits made it awesome! It sucks that the website was never properly backed up and lots of data was lost. I had a video on there that is lost to time, including some pictures too.

I remember when Open Diary and Live Journal were around. Those were kinds of social media. Maybe Friendster, too?

 

I may have just played with the ones listed above.

 

MySpace was one I got into more. And My Year Book.

 

MySpace was cool because you could add HTML and really customize things. But the spam was INSANE!

I'd have to say it was Myspace. I had an ex girlfriend introduce it to me.

The first social media site I used was Facebook. I joined it in high school to connect with friends and share what was happening in our lives. It was very popular at the time and helped me keep in touch with people I liked. But now I don't use it much.

Facebook. I never used any social media sites before Facebook unless you count MSN messenger lol
