I need to request some threads created for my local town forum, which is CleburneForums.com

I'm new to this so I'm not entirely sure how to go about it. After reading this, if you have any suggestions for me, I would be glad to hear them. I think it's best if I create a list:

1. I want it to look as though there are new members signing up, so I think you should make 1 full page of threads in the "Welcome new members!" forum. Along with a few replies to each new member, welcoming them to the forum. Although I am not sure how many threads will have to be created, in order to fill in that first page. I don't know what the default setting is, so let's just have you stop at 22 threads, each posted by a different member.

2. There is a forum which is not visible to regular members, and I would like you to post nothing inside. It's "Local business advertising".

3. Please add content to the "Buy, Sell, and Trade" forum. Where the members you create will appear to post ads selling things. Other members you create should post replies to the ads, asking a question about the item. Or perhaps saying "DM sent!", so as to imply that the item was sold. And of course, after a "DM Sent" reply has been made, the "OP" who posted the ad can reply "SOLD" so that it looks as though the item as posted, and then sold. I would like for you to create 18 threads in this forum.

4. Please add content to the "Wanted" forum, where want ads are posted by members, and are fulfilled by other members. Only some of the wanted ads you create should have a reply. Many wanted ads are unfulfilled on most forums, so I don't want it to look like every single wanted ad was filled. There can be the usual "DM sent" replies, as well as questions about the items, and replies to those questions by the "OP" of the want ad thread. I would like you to create 16 threads in this forum.

5. There is another forum that I would like for you to avoid, and post nothing inside. It's the "Garage sales" forum.

6. The rest of the forums I believe are self explanatory, and I would like for you to use any remaining threads and replies (that are left after completing my previous instructions) to fill in these remaining forums with threads and replies to those threads. Although I must admit that I'm not sure what lengths you guys go to. For instance, in the forum "Current Events and News from Cleburne", would you simply google some current events in Cleburne Texas and then create a thread about it? The same goes for my "Local Politics" sub forum and the "CISD" (cleburne independent school district) sub forum. I do need content added to those, but I don't have any idea on how to instruct you. So I will have to leave the rest of the forums to your professional opinion.

I can't think of anything else, thank you!

The forum requires manual account approval. I think this needs to be set to automatic approval. If someone has to take multiple spots, it is not possible to use a proper email ids, instead we will have to to use disposal email. I registered 4 accounts using disposable email.

Great work Nomad thanks!

To other [uSERGROUP=6]@Content Team[/uSERGROUP] members who are available - please take at least a position or two on this order if you haven't already, and prioritise this order! If you need help setting up an account or want one registered ready for you, just PM Cedric or myself and we'll get the account setup and details sent to you via PM as quickly as we can.

I myself will do some more work on this order tonight and tomorrow, I've been away for a few days due to a very busy irl schedule so apologies for that.

I have a question about the users that have been created:

Is there an easy way to tell which users have been created you guys? I'm thinking that a few of the users I've gotten in the past month might be real users. One of them has a @cleburne.net email address. If I'm not mistaken, that's a local government email address. So that could be a real user. I also noticed that there's several users who are using gmail as their email address.

I would have thought those were just you guys, but they never posted anything. So I began to suspect that maybe they're real users and they're just your standard lurkers.

Any idea how I can tell who's who? There's only about 50 registered users on the user list.

Check the "order accepted" post, you can see the users who posted on your forum as a package team. Other than these users might be real user.

Is that in the admin panel? It doesn't seem to be there under the "Users" tab in the admin panel.

I believe Nomad means you can look at the Accepted template in this thread to see who signed up as who. Though there's a problem with that, a few members didn't list their usernames on the forums. I signed up with two gmail accounts, Seth and Maria were the accounts I created. I think Logan might be one of us, but I'm not sure. You might also be able to check ip addresses too, but again people can use VPNs now so that might not help.

Thanks I'll check the earlier pages of this thread. I thought I saw a different thread was created for that purpose, but I guess not.

You can check this post of the thread to see your order progress: https://administrata.net/threads/need-threads-created-for-town-forum.555/#post-4238

In brackets next to the package team members' name is usually the username they are using on your forum for that part of the order, I will ask team members who haven't added their usernames to add them when they have a chance so you can track better.

I'd guess that anyone who signed up with a @cleburne.net email address is almost definitely a real member, so hopefully the content, while being delivered slightly slower than your expectations, is at least having a positive effect on bringing people in, and hopefully the content continuing until we finish the package will make sure the place is seen to be active.

Yes I think the content is already working. All they need to see is that other people are there, and they'll decide its worthwhile to visit from time to time, and to post if they feel the need to. Imo the naysayers on the Xenforo forums are mistaken. They're reading too much into it, you just need to ditch the ghost town look. After that, then begin your marketing campaign.

I accidentally used Isaac to create threads and posts. For some reason I thought that I had created that username. So the password for Isaac is thebindingof. Like that video game.

I guess whoever was meant to start using it can simply do so, or the password can be changed. Sorry about the mistake!

It's been a good while since any new threads and posts have been made (aside from me) and I was hoping you might know what is going on with that. I really need to get the forum filled in with content. Also, when this round was complete, I intend to purchase another one. Below you can see what is left, shown in post #3:

Apologies Benny. We've been having some troubles intern with filling this request among some others. We're currently hiring more staff to complete orders more timely. I'm hoping to complete this soon for you.

[uSERGROUP=6]@Content Team[/uSERGROUP] any extra assistance with this order would be appreciated.

I will aim to complete my own slots and take maybe one other slot over the next week.

Okay fdk, I had to take my time and study things up before I jump into taking tasks. I would take 4 slots on this task. Would sign up with different usernames and let you know about them here. Hope 5 days to complete the task ain't too long.
I have signed up on the forum with the usernames, Kenzie, Krissy and Kimani. Would create a fourth account soon to start the job in earnest.

I can do the fifth and final spot.

Edit: Finished 13 posts and will finish out tomorrow. King Belieal , the Wanted forum needs 2 more topics and the Buy/Sell forum needs 4 more topics to be compliant with the OP's request. Can you help with this with the 4 accounts you’re running?

All of you guys + myself have outstanding posts/threads to make on this order, as per the current updated acceptance post. Please ensure your progress is up-to-date in the tracking post and please try to treat this order as a priority for completion over the next week or so.

Thanks! :)

I see that you each have parts that haven't been started. The owner is needing this done and it's been open since December. Please reply letting me know when you plan to complete your part. Otherwise, I'll jump in and take some spots to help get this package completed.
