I am as I've been looking forward to the new updates on Pages. This is something have been wanting to utilize a lot more as had used plugins in the past to make it look better.

Yeah it looks awesome. Especially the drag and drop. That’s some really great feature there that I wish XenForo also had. Although don’t see that happening soon.

I love Xenforo for what it is but I decided on using IC as it provided me more built into the software and not having to purchase addons and plugins. Didn't want to spend more time working on the backend instead of creating content.

I love XenForo for the 3rd party add on market, but damn it can surely get expensive!

Have updated the forums to Invision Community v5 as I felt that the current betas are stable enough for a production site. I have made several changes to the overall look of the forums and continuing to make the category image selections a bit better looking.

Made the decision in moving the forum over to using NodeBB. My belief is that by using more opden source software while also discussing these and other alternative platforms. It would help in growing a community within this space.

Congratulations on the move to NodeBb! How are you liking the new software thus far?

It's much more lightweight than IC which I still love. Having the Fediverse built-in integration is also a great feature to use.

I had been hesitant in moving the forums to a new server while using NodeBB but, using Cloudron as the server dashboard/control panel has made it a breeze. Was an easy process of making a backup on the old, importing it on the new and in less than ten minutes everything was back up and running as before.

Working with NodeBB has been really great and have been enjoying the experience. With that said, I was missing the experience of IC and so, I setup the 2TonWaffle community forums back on Invision Community. Unfortunately there isn't an easy way of converting NodeBB to IC and I made the decision to essentially start fresh. I know that this isn't ideal and broke old links but, it was my decision to do so. I've also match our brand colors across all of our sites (forums, shop, main site, Owncast, and Peertube.)

Looks great. The topics listing is an interesting choice. I might also do that here sometime. But for now, people can choose in their settings.

Thanks, I was thinking in that this format would provide a better look for something just starting out as the category layout might give off an air of emptiness.
