I read in a post that you should monitor your website stats every 2 weeks. I usually check Google analytics and search console daily, because I like seeing how my site performs.

How often do you monitor/check your website stats?

I wish they had something like that for Xenforo. That'd be sweet to be able to do that from the admin panel.

They do in a way. Digitalpoint released a Better Google Analytics add on;

If you run through Cloudflare, you also want to have this:

I check my Cloudflare and Google Search Console traffic data every day, sometimes every other day, sometimes multiple times a day. I sit in front of the computer consistently when I'm at home and I check various things over and over again, and my traffic history is one of them.

Since I made use of Google Search Console a while ago, barely... really because the figures to do with Performance are quite poor at the moment :confused:

I have a lot of impressions and my clicks have gradually been increasing, but I went from 30+ pages worth of links indexed on Google to 10-.

This is nice. That is to show that you are consistent and can keep up with following the progress of your forum in order to know whether it is achieving success needed or not.

Plus, I have too much free time on my hands a lot of time! :D

But yes, checking it consistently enough allows you to see how much traffic is incoming, where from, and other general statistics.

According to Cloudflare analytics, most people browse my forum using Chrome on a desktop.

With the roleplay sites, I literally never check Google Analytics, don't even have it installed. I don't even check CloudFlare.

The only thing I check is the logs to see if I have bots coming in I don't want, so I can block them. No AI scrapers here, thanks.

I have Monster Insights plugged in for my blogs. I like it because it gives me my analytics (GA4 integration) right on my blog and for each post.

Still, I don't use it to capacity, and I should since I pay for that plugin.

I'm really good at SEO, marketing, social media, and all that. I understand all the metrics and can even customize my own. However, I just don't do it as much. I love the creation side too much.

As for the forums, I never check it aside from the footer stats.

Since I got to know Google Search Console more, and since I added more URLs to get indexed (such as certain threads and even forum categories), I'm now on it much more.

Google has recently rolled out a new addition to the performance report in Search Console. You can now view hourly data in a 24-hour format.
