Nostalgia is a nice experience, but sometimes you can romanticize the past a bit too much. Still, I’d like to reminisce together about some fun memories.

For me, I feel nostalgic about the early days of my internet experience - things like chatting on MSN for hours, playing simple flash games, and accidentally downloading viruses through Kazaa or Limewire. 😅 And of course, the endless hours I have put into building forums back on InvisionFree/ZetaBoards

What are you nostalgic about?

ZetaBoards and Windows XP for me...

What are you nostalgic about?

You're bringing back some great members.

I miss IRC and running scripts in MSN Chat. Getting on Fight Rooms in Yahoo Chat.

I miss Php-Nuke haha

I've always had a nostalgia for the Yu-Gi-Oh TCG. I played the game a lot when I was younger, and now I mostly collect the cards. If I ever play anymore, it's usually on the Master Duel app on my iPhone. I have thousands of Yu-Gi-Oh cards, worth anywhere from $3000 - $4000 total.

I'm nostalgic about my high school days or even simpler times in the 2010s. Lately, things have gotten too complicated, and things have gotten too hard (not to sound whiny). I was a bit spoiled back then, but they were good times.
Worse, they’ve gotten more complicated for no reason other than so other people can profit off it.
Yahoo groups were fun. They are no more. Who remembers them?

MSN Messenger, for sure. What a time it was. All those weird usernames and status messages. It was pretty unique, right? Haven't seen it anywhere else since then.

I miss the rush of discovering cool shit on the Internet back in 1999 and the early 2000's. At that time, the internet was pretty small and limited. No Google, no socials. You were much more by yourself. You had to be smart to a certain extent in order to find the good shit.

No Google

Google debuted in 1998, and by 2000 they'd already started doing their 'Google Doodle' stuff, I remember seeing a Dilbert one in 2000. And Google was a proper gamechanger in that era, compared to AltaVista etc.

Though I remember some of the early attempts to fix the search engine landscape, with Dogpile and Ixquick that would search multiple search engines and collate the results.

I miss the days I would live action roleplay Teen Titans when I was a teenager. I used to larp with my childhood crush and she would be Raven and I would be my own character. xD We grew a bit close when we roleplayed, but we never dated. Also I miss the evenings my wife and I would talk on Yahoo messenger when we first started dating. Of course now I can talk to her whenever I want in person but it was special.
Dial up. The only form of internet access I had for awhile until I upgraded to broadband. Lol!

I do remember the early Internet days. However, my nostalgia is about Jamaica. How I miss the long, open beaches with clean, clear water under a beating sun. The rivers, the sunset, and above all, the delicious cuisine.

Sometimes, I roll my thumbs and recall my childhood. Running crazy in the drizzling rain, bathing in the springs, or just playing soccer.
