Long, scary privacy disclaimers can make users bounce—especially on checkout pages. But are you legally required to show them the way you do?

Have you tried simplifying legal copy for UX? Did it improve trust or conversions?

a confusing or overly intrusive privacy policy can hurt conversions. Users may abandon forms if they feel uncertain or mistrustful. Clear, concise language and transparency can build trust and improve conversion rates.

A poorly written privacy policy can hurt conversions. I’ve noticed that vague or overly complex language scares off visitors. A clear, concise, and trust-building policy assures customers their data is safe, improving both trust and conversion rates.
