Optimizing your forum for mobile users involves using responsive design, fast-loading pages, and simplified navigation. Prioritize readable fonts, tap-friendly buttons, and minimal pop-ups. Test across various devices to ensure consistent accessibility and user experience.

I simply don't use forum or blog software that isn't mobile ready by default or via a theme. Anyway, my current software choices: WordPress and phpBB are mobile ready by default.

Note: MyBB might be the only or very last of software that is not mobile ready by default, but that can be changed easily with a free or paid theme.
