I used to run math and drumming forums, so someone might be cynical and think I'm being some show-off. Anyway, though, the situation "was what it was" because there's nobody else to post, not because of some show-off, lol.

I have never been a fan of admin posting too much. I think forum succeed on user participation. But I understand when you do not have active users you do not have any option left other than post yourself

Constant posting can sometimes give that impression, but it depends on the content and intent. If my posts are valuable, engaging, and contribute to discussions, they’re more likely to be seen as helpful rather than self-promotional.
