I wouldn't want to deal with it because it could create an unnatural environment for a forum. For instance, you might have to police everything on it to maximize SEO benefit and that's unrealistic and ridiculous.

 

And a better alternative is getting traffic via social media or something else. Probably the cost is the same as with SEO because really good SEO will cost money, just like a good social media campaign will.

Yes, the forum I’m creating with someone will rely on SEO, along with other marketing strategies. I’ve developed a plan to accomplish this.

I think people running forums should basically rely on SEO. There is no other better way to build brand and get traffic otherthank SEo
