Has anyone here used Lemmy yet? It's the Fediverse version of Reddit. It's been growing as of late since many people are getting fed up with Reddit's moderation. I think it's a great alternative, and it's another place where forum owners can promote their forums on too! If you do wish to join, I recommend joining via www.discuss.online. After filling out their questionnaire I was approved quickly! Some instances aren't as well maintained and you might be left in limbo, waiting for your account to be approved.

I haven't joined Lemmy yet, but I'll most definately join it soon. How is it compared to Reddit? Is there a karma system/reputation like Reddit?

It's similar but not 100% the same. I haven't made any threads yet on Lemmy, I've just commented so I'm not sure if I need a certain number of karma before I can post images. That could vary depending on which instance you're on. Now on the other platform I've shared, Discuit, it's very similar to Reddit. I haven't been able to share an image yet because my karma is too low. Lemmy has a bunch of different instances and is similar to forums since different people host their own Lemmy instance.
