There are many free hosting providers where you can set up your own website, blog or forum, but what platforms are your go platforms for setting up a new website or blog? How about a forum?

Do you prefer to use neocities, wix, wordpress or blogger?

What are your go to free forum hosting providers? Are there any platforms that you refuse to use?

For my blog, I use Wordpress. While it is free right now, I can choose to upgrade it later and pay a certain amount each month but that depends on which plan I choose from them.

For my forum, I'm using Jcink. Proboards and Forumotion are alright too. I use to recommend Zetaboards until they were bought out by Tapatalk.

What are your go to free forum hosting providers?

I have not yet arrived at a fixed preferred web hosting provider.

I should however mention that prohoster.info offer web hosting services that would easily make you to stick to them.

At only $2.5 per month, your web hosting needs are satisfied at prohoster.info.

For free forum hosts, Jcink was always my go to. You can move to self hosting since they allow you to download database backups of your forum. As for free blog hosting, Wordpress offers a free hosting plan. You can't use your own domain name, but it's decent for someone starting their own blog for the first time. Now as for free hosting, I used Infinity Free in the past. You need your own domain name, but they give you free SSL certificates, access to cPanel as well as access to phpMyAdmin.
