I don't recognize this user of one of the largest promotion forums known to mankind. 😅

Welcome to the community, may you find beneficial activities here!

Much appreciated!

I'll go ahead and pull the trigger on converting this into an AMA as well. Excellent idea to integrate the two things together.

Welcome to Administrata

A big welcome to Administrata Cam - as part of the AMA - how long have you been using forums, how did you get into them, and how long after starting to use forums did you feel the need to scratch the itch and create your own? :)

I started using forums back in 2008. I was 11-12 years old at the time. I had joined a site called UpperDeckKids, which was rewards site created by the sports card company Upper Deck. On the site, they also had a forum, and a lot of us became friends on that platform.

UpperDeckKids continued to have a lot of issues on its forum, such as all posts being on moderation approval, and some posts never getting approved. This prompted for us to try and create our own forums, especially on ProBoards. Just about everyone in our group had their own ProBoards forum back then. Anyway, as others got out of the hobby, I’ve stayed in it.

That's great! It sounds like we're a very similar age - I too first started on forums around the same time as you, on a forum dedicated to a website I used when I was a kid called "SwapItShop" - that was essentially a version of eBay for kids to "sell" items for swapits (credits) that they could then use to "buy" other things. The whole system was rather complicated and involved sending things to swapitshop headquarters where they'd check, repackage and re-send the items onto the buyer.

I and a friend eventually created a rival forum as we were terribly behaved kids and would regularly get banned from the main forum, eventually our forum became just as popular although was still generally a small niche site.

So glad I joined Swapitshop and ended up finding that forum as I think it's rather unlikely I'd have continued on to find and participate in other forums had I not!

Anyhow, I've digressed a bit, but I do have another question for you though - what's the biggest forum (or website) that you've run so far, and is it still running?

I am not the sole owner of FP.

I suppose FP would be the answer to that question. It’s alive and well. I also ran WWEForums for a couple years, and that would probably be the second biggest. I ended up selling that forum and the new owner merged it into WrestlingSmarks.

I am not the sole owner of FP.

That didn't answer the question.

I asked you if you're open for negotiating, which would involve you asking other parties if that were the case, and coming back with a Yes or a No. Or, you could've given a hard No as you wouldn't even entertain the idea to propose to other shareholders.

We're not interested in negotiating a sale.

Thanks.
