Do you offer paid user upgrades on your forum? Why or why not? Does it benefit the revenue for your forum? How much do these memberships cost and what do they come with?

I held off because I didn't want to, but recently I did start offering, by request. I'm not a fan of them, they're $5 a month and they're literally just to sponsor the forum, that's how the members designed it.

We have them at Christianity Haven and all we offer in return is entry into a private forum. It's nothing exciting.

Yeah, I think it's best to view it more as a sponsorship, helping to keep the forum going. So in a way it's a token of affection from users to show how much they care about the forum.

We decided to do it because we had members wanting to help contribute monetarily. It was the easy solution and we don't push it.

I think that is the only way I would do this again if we had members that wanted to donate, VIP and other forums are just old school.

We offer paid user upgrades on our forum for all different kinds of reasons. Being that we are a forum that caters to not only gamers but also content creators and streamers as well, we offer upgrades to help content creators and streamers gain more eyes to their content as well as upgrades for those who have their own websites too.

Many sites do it the same way; I would like to come up with some new ways to do upgrades and promote sites.;)
