Mine was great, having family around the dinner table was a laugh.

So... I made a blog, it was fun putting it together. I think that's the perfect low maintenance type of thing for me to run.

 

Other than that, going to the movies today and tomorrow.

It’s been great. We’re out ice skating with the fam and friends at the moment. 😊 How about you?

Oh man... it's been such a busy few days for me and I've not had hardly any time to be able to get on Administrata much or work on any of my personal projects either which is sad!

 

That being said, I have the rest of the week completely free with the exception of a few hours on Friday & Saturday so I have plenty of time now to catch up with stuff here and get some of my own things done!

I've been getting on, but haven't been posting much until now, so I suppose I am fired too. 😅

 

Anywho, what are everyone's plans for New Year's Eve? It's me and the pups for New Year's Eve. Everyone else went to my grandmother's house. I didn't feel like playing games and would probably stare at my iPhone the entire time while everyone else was playing games, so I decided to stay behind and catch up on some forums and coding projects.

I suppose I am fired too. 😅

I started off the new year with excitement. Well, I say excitement, but in reality I'm not sure how exciting it is.

 

Basically my wife has been nagging me to clear out the old laptops and electronics we have because I'm a paranoid weirdo who's convinced my identity is going to get stolen etc. and that can't happen if I never throw out my old laptops! But she correctly pointed out that I promised "more than 2 house moves ago" that I would, and so I am.

 

I have already taken 3 laptops, an old camera and an old iPod to the recycling. Next round has already begun - I currently have a fourth laptop plus 3 old iPads on charge so I can do the scrubbing.

Excluding work laptops and our current laptops, there's still 2 of mine to wipe in the box and 2 of my wife's (so, we'd collected 9 in the house). Plus assorted iPads and iPhones and junk like that. (I currently have 3 iPads on charge, you can tell how old they are, they all have the old wide 30-pin dock connector on them)

 

Actually now that I look at it, one of those iPads is a first gen iPad, and one of those is the one I bought to take to America when we did our big road trip (I explicitly went out to buy one with 3G so I could use it on the move)

 

I also have a PS3 and a Wii to toss out but since they have games as well I think they'll skip recycling and go to the local Cex (buy-sell-exchange) place. Heck, some of the Wii games came from there originally, but they aren't going to give me the same price back I paid for them years ago!)

But we do tend to collect some old tech. I think I still have some old Nokia's laying around somewhere.

It was mostly because wiping them is tedious and annoying and it was easier to put into a box and pretend not to care :P

I'm glad you like it. We had it enabled (although not as default) since I merged Agora and Administrata. Seeing this is a custom developed theme I purchased for Agora, and the fact that I absolutely love this theme, made my decision to make it default here a bit easier. :)

Nah, because I’m pretty good at keeping all the content on the current iterations of device, it’s just old devices that needed wiping.

I think I have my two old iPhones in a junk drawer.
