DDOS attacks can happen at any given moment if there are no measures in place to prevent them from happening. When DDOS attacks happen, it can be stressful for the owner of the website as well as cause a loss of data in some cases.

What measures do you take to prevent DDOS attacks? What tips would you give to others?

I use use Cloudflare's DDOS protection for client websites.

They have some of the best security on the market and will alert you if you are seeing issues on your website.

They are also used by the biggest sites and platforms in the world, which shows they are an excellent if not the best solution for DDOS attacks

Here's a link for anyone interested https://www.cloudflare.com/ddos/
