Everyone has their strengths and abilities. Some believe that they will do well as business individuals. Others feel like they do not have the flair for business, but jobs.

I prefer to run a business because the autonomy and freedom it offers can't be beaten by a traditional job. Don't forget that you also have access to unlimited earning potentials as well. The rewards of entrepreneurship outweighed those of the traditional job.

I'd rather have a job and run a business on the side. Then, as the business grows, I'd definitely go all in.

I’d rather run a business.. It lets me be my own boss and follow what I love.

This is the way. I don't think many people who say 'I want to be my own boss' understand how difficult and stressful it is to be successful. With a job you just gotta turn up, running a business means e v e r y t h i n g is your responsibility - and that's a giant pain in the ass.

Couldn't agree more!

I would rather have my own job than run my own business. While it may seem cool on paper to be able to work on your own terms, there's a lot more than just that when it comes to owning a business. You need to be responsible and you have to oblige by federal laws and regulations especially if you're hiring other people to help you out. It's too much of a headache to own a business IMO. I'd rather have a full time job and some gigs on the side. (Which is what I'm doing at the moment anyways lol.)
Run my own business. I work for me now. Do alright for myself. I used to do everything myself. Now I hire out somethings. Was running 3 businesses at once before. I don't like the paperwork end of things. My taxes got out of hand, so now I have a guy for that.
I'd rather run a business. This is because I would have the freedom to pursue my passion as an entrepreneur. I can also make decisions with no hinderances.

The security of having a job works for me.

Sure, I've always wanted to run my own business, and always thought I'd make it a success - but it would also require significant time and money investment, and ultimately, any business venture comes with some sort of risk attached. And that risk will always outweigh the risk of my (relatively) stable job.

I would rather own a business. Your business could be something you actually enjoy instead of something you have to do. So you'd be a lot happier about having to go out in the world to make money. Plus, you'd make all your own decisions instead of someone else deciding your fate.

I would prefer to be creative within my own business. Having a job is nice with a predetermined, nearly guaranteed source of income, but I'm pretty sure I've got some form of ADHD, and my brain gets bored after a while of doing the same things over and over again. Also, given the current state of the Job Market, I'd rather be in business for myself. There's more control over my income, and I'm not dependent upon somebody else "giving me a chance to prove myself".

Now... if only I had the time to develop something that I find interesting that people actually want/need...
