How do you stay motivated while coding?

I do web design, more of front end and a bit of backend every now and then. Still working on becoming a full stack developer.

In my opinion stay motivated while coding by breaking tasks into smaller goals and celebrating progress. Keep learning new techniques to make the process more engaging and rewarding.

It depends if I'm passionate about the niche or site I'm building. I can get a lot done in one night, and I tend to put in long hours when I'm really motivated. I take a lot of smoke breaks, and I work at my own pace.

i do agree with this comment, especially by breaking task into smaller goals and celebrating progress.
for me my self coding more like doing quest in game, so if i feel the main quest still too hard or too far to reach i'll move to do some minor quests. Even though we only complete minor quests, we can get a feeling of satisfaction that will keep motivate us to continue till we complete the entire project/work.
