Do you play the lottery?

Every now and then when I'm out grocery shopping, I'll buy 1000 yen of scratchers, or 5. I typically "win" 500-800 yen, but have had times I walked with nothing.

One day will make up for it with the 1,000,000 yen prize (about $10,000) as each booth has a winning ticket at all times. I think they just replace the rolls/randomize them when someone wins. Obviously, the odds are still stacked from the beginning, and even more when they rotate out.
I'd be fine with $10K!

The most I've won on a scratch off ticket was $1,000 which was still cool. It was a $30 ticket.

I don't play the lottery because I grew up watching my mom play and never won LOL the amount that lady spent on tickets is ridiculous. I mean we had the money but still lol. Now that I'm older I don't play. In the rare occasion that I do play I don't ever expect to win.

If I won the lottery I wouldn't tell anyone but there would be signs lol

I used to play the lottery years ago but I can't say I have played the lottery in a very long time.

No, honestly no, the chances of winning are very, very small, it is much more possible for you to win money in a casino than in a lottery, which is why I do not play the lottery, it would be a huge waste of money without any sense.

When there's a EuroMillions rollover jackpot, or a National Lottery must-win special jackpot, I'll usually buy 2 tickets if I remember on my way home from work one day or something. I've won a couple of hundred pounds a few times, but never any life-changing amounts... yet. Maybe next year will finally be my year. :)

No, it's a waste of money, I have as much chance of winning as I have of raising the dead and I won't get involved in anything sanctioned by the corrupt British Government.

Statistics suggest you will be hit by lightning 3 times before you win the lottery odds.

So yes, I play scratchers and draws, 🤪
