    As a person who develops WordPress sites for a living, this is actually quite scary, since we also offer managed WordPress hosting, and have ACF deeply integrated into our workflow. Granted, they are very unlikely to go for small fishes like us, but it is still scary.

    Wow you are really fond of running forums (I mean this in a good way!). I've tried the vBulletin 6 demo and it's actually not too bad. It has a very old school feel to it (which I prefer).

    This is true, perhaps it's just a subjective thing on my end. I do like to join forums if they are using forum scripts which are not the norm though, something like Flarum, Vanilla, etc. Not the usual XF or Invision forums.

    Yessir. It was originally on Codeigniter 3, migrated it over to Codeigniter 4, then decided to redo the theme to make it look neater and not use bootstrap.

    I'm not a fan of MyBB, to be honest. Something about it just feels .. tryhard. I am sure the script is amazing and the people behind it are talented, it's just not my cup of tea. I'm okay with every other forum script.
