13. This may be a long post as I will try to answer all of your questions the best I can. I'll start off by saying I am not a professional designer, nor do I really know how to design but my thoughts on whether or not it is ethical to use free tools and charge your clients is that yes, it is ethical because you are still providing your clients a service. It doesn't matter that you used something free, you still put in the time and did the design. The way I would justify using the free tool to the clients is that when you sell a drawing usually you use a ruler to make sure your lines are straight. Now the ruler is a free tool and you used it for your drawing but that doesn't mean that your drawing is worthless. The tool may have been free, but my time isn't and if you hire me for a project I will complete that project through any methods necessary. The only time I think it would not be appropriate to use free tools is if the customer themselves ask for you not to use free tools and you agree. The way I would ensure the quality and professionalism of my work when using free tools is to make sure that the focus isn't on the free tool but the end project. Customers probably won't even notice that you used a free tool, they look at the end result and product, I don't think they really look to see if you used a free tool. Also I think the majority of the people who will be hiring you will know little to nothing about Visual Design or UX so I say you're pretty safe to do so. As for the points of consideration, You can show potential clients your value by showing them your previous projects and how you were able to help those clients with your skills, creativity and expertise. I don't think you have to come right out and tell someone that you are using free tools however if a customer asks then obviously being transparent with them is the way to go. You never want to lie to go back on your word to a customer, it just looks bad and you know the customer is going to talk about their experience to others potential clients. I cannot talk on the cost aspect as again I know nothing about doing Visual Design or UX. Same with client expectation. But yes, this is my opinion on the questions about whether or not it is ethical to use free tools and charge the clients.
14. This is a helpful thread because I would like to learn to code and was actually just wondering which one would be best to start off with.
15. I'm also going to go see Deadpool & Wolverine, I'm pretty excited!
16. I agree with this =) I encourage feedback. How am I supposed to know how I'm doing if I'm not getting feedback? I want to grow both as a writer and as a person so I need to know what I could be doing better or instead of what I'm currently doing.

What is the game you find most right now? I've never been a huge gamer but I do remember stumbling on a very interesting game (it was an idle planet game) and I would play that all night when I was younger. Now even if I tried I'd fall asleep. Haha Same, I did it when I was younger and it didn't effect me as much, now if I mess up my sleep schedule it takes me a while to get it back on track. Same, even if I wanted to I'd probably fall asleep haha. It also isn't something I'm really wanting to do anymore. Exactly, when you're a kid you have little to no responsibility so you can sleep in if you want or even sleep in all day. As an adult you have too many responsibilities to be able to go to bed at lie 4 am in the morning and sleep all day. I did the same, now not so much. Even if I wanted to lol
18. To be honest, I could never remember the cheat codes and I always preferred not using cheat codes. My brother would though and sometimes I would see that the cheats were pretty awesome. To be honest I'm not sure if there are a lot of cheat codes anymore. I haven't played a video game in a hot minute.
19. Hmm this is a tough one. I'd say two but I'd also be happy if I don't have kids. Still not sure if I can have kids and so if I can't have kids I'll be okay but if I do have choice I'd like to have two kids. I think one kid gets too spoiled and I know me, I would spoil that child rotten. Also growing up I had a cousin who was a single child and childhood friend that was a single child and they both told me it sucked lol. That being said I'd prefer two. I wouldn't want 3 because I grew up in a household of 3 kids and I just didn't like it. I had two brothers and so I got bullied constantly and there is usually always one left out where there are 3. I also feel like I wouldn't have the energy for 3 kids so yeah 2 would be plenty haha. My boyfriend and I kind of touched base about having kids before we started dating and we are both on the same page so it is really reassuring.

That is such a great question! For me it all depends on how that criticism is delivered. If someone is giving me helpful criticism in a kind and positive manner than yes I am all for it! However, if someone is going to be demeaning or belittling than I might not be as receptive. I'm huge on treating people right but I also expect people to be to treat me with respect and if they want to try to help me/direct me instead of being negative about it.
21. Thank you Cedric for this very informative thread on the best ways to avoid being scammed as a freelancer. I have heard my fair share of horror stories when it comes to freelance work (a lot of my friends do freelancing). I felt bad for them because they had encountered some pretty horrible people who really used them & their time and didn't pay them. Because of that my friends now have a contract they make people sign and they also don't start a project until the initial fee is paid. Being a freelancer is hard work and so it's really smart to research your potential clients because who knows, maybe you'll find out that they owe other freelancers money and you just avoided a toxic client. Make sure to protect yourself and your clients by getting them to sign a contract so that you both are on the same page as to what is expected and also give time lines on when certain things should be done. Ultimately you are your own boss which means YOU get to chose your clients and if you feel like a client is giving you bad vibes or you feel like they may be too much LISTEN. I agree with everything that Cedric has said above. At the end of the day you just want to make sure you are good and that the work you've done isn't for nothing.
22. Very educational Cpvr thank you for sharing! Unfortunately, I have never practiced SEO writing so I can't be of help there. Though I really appreciated a thorough post about SEO and what the best to consider when you are wanting the best results. Thanks again for sharing!

Unfortunately I don't play video games so I wouldn't really be of any help. I wish you the best in luck with your forum though!
24. I wouldn't say I feel relaxed when I'm watching horror movies but I definitely do enjoy watching horror movies. I have never seen The blackphone before, sounds like that might be the next movie I watch sometime in the next montth lol. The other horror movies you've mentioned are amazing though, also my top horror movies. Same! Horror & Thriller are definitely my favourite genre of movies. Creep & Creep 2 are also fantastic movies! Very crazy but interesting and had me on the edge of my seat for most of it. It is definitely... creepy haha. Pet Sematary, the original one was soo good! I used to get nightmares about it. I haven't seen the remake and never really wanted to. What is your favourite genre of movies? See and I love horror movies because they scare the crap out of me lol. Though when I was younger my older brother would force me to watch horror movies and I remember he told me that all my stuffed animals (and I had a lot) would come to life while I sleep and were planning on killing me. It took me weeks to get back to a regular sleep schedule haha. Understandable, what is your favourite genre of movies?

Oh wow! That's a very long time! I know cause I've had a friend who wanted me to binge all of the Lord of the Rings movies and I go through 2 and was pooped haha. I don't think I could do 9 hours, that's definitely impressive. That's very fair, in that sense I binge watch A LOT of shows. I don't necessarily watch them, but they are basically background noise that I sometimes take a few minutes to watch and then keep going about my day. I have a friend like that, she has a very difficult time actually staying seated or paying attention to the movie. Usually when we have movie nights and we invite her we usually expect her to bring her yarn to knit or some other craft that she can work on. Not everyone enjoys movies and that is definitely okay. I am the same way haha! I will wait until the WHOLE season is out before I start watching it because I HATE having to wait for the next episode. I get to anxious and I'm too nosy, I need to know what's going to happen right now lol. I hated it back in the day when you actually had to wait a whole week before you could watch the next episode. So glad things have advanced lol. Chicago Fire is actually a show I've been told to watch but never actually sat down and watched it. Maybe I should though 🤷‍♀️ What time of year do you usually feel like you have more time to watch tv? For me it's always the winter time. I hate going out in the cold so I tend to make less plans haha.
