Are you someone who enjoys spoiling your loved ones? If so, in what ways do you tend to spoil your loved ones. If you don't spoil your loved ones, what are your thoughts on spoiling the ones we hold dear to us? For me I LOVE spoiling loved ones and those who make a positive impact in my life. I am 100% there for them and I love them spoil them with gift baskets on their birthdays (I used to run a gift basket business). I'll also set up a photoshoot for friends who enjoy those kinds of activities to help boost their confidence or feel good about themselves. When I didn't have much money to spend I would make a cute picnic with foods and snacks that they enjoy. I find sometimes it's the small things that make a difference. Remembering their favourite chocolate bar, or colour so you can make a gift basket with those colours.. etc. I believe it's important to show your loved ones that you care and that you appreciate them. I want my friends to feel good about themselves and to be reminded that they are loved and thought of. Just today I went out and got a spa package (1/2 massage and a medi pedi) for my neighbour because she has been going through a lot lately. To explain a bit more, I usually bring her 2 daughters (one in grade 2 and one in grade 3) to school and pick them up 3 days a week and watch them until about 430-5 when their parents get home from work. I also have the kids over sometimes to do some baking and arts as they love that and to give my neighbours a bit of a break because they do have a busy lifestyle. The dad does shift work and the mom has a regular 9-5 typ job. The girls are in a few different dance classes and stay active so it can get pretty exhausting for the parents at times. The dad does struggle with mental health and in October he will be going to treatment for a few weeks leaving the mom to basically take care of everything. Of course, I'm going to help her out as much as I can and as much as she would like that I help but I also feel like she could use a spa day where it's all about her and how she feels rather than focus on the girls, her husband and other things going on in life. Do you ever do such things for your loved ones? Would you ever do such things for loved ones?? I will admit, right now money isn't too tight and I am able to do such things for the ones I love. But if money was more tight and I was unable to pay for spa packages or flowers or anything like that I would resort to drawing them their favourite animal or having a desserts & wine night with them.
6. Here in Canada we have 4 seasons but sometimes it feels like there is only one: colder than a penguins pecker (I'm sure it's a Canadian saying). :ROFLMAO:
7. That life doesn't end when you fail, it is a part of life and it will teach us how we can improve ourselves and the situation.
8. This is actually really interesting! I can understand why they would want to flag AI-generated or modified images especially if people are trying to scam others using these AI-generated or modified images and telling people it is their own.

Most people don't even who they themselves are so for anyone to judge you if you are honestly trying your best, isn't a good person. Instead of negative thoughts think positive ones. I know that seems almost impossible but every time you catch yourself thinking something negative force yourself to think of the opposite scenario, in time you will train your mind to think positively. That's I did. When I was younger I walked into the room thinking everyone was going to judge me and not like me so Iy stayed to myself (and stayed miserable). Now I walk into a room knowing I won't be everyone's favourite person but also knowing I'm a pretty cool person to get to know and be frriends with. It's all on how to train yourself to respond to situations. It might take a bit but you basically have to unlearn a habit you've been doing for most of your life.

Everyone's got problems man, don't worry about anyone judging you for your struggles. We all out here trying to survive =) For me my fear is sharks or most things in the ocean.

14. That is very true! Plus, you also know how to upgrade a product if you know your audience and what they want/are looking for.
15. Amazing questions! Thanks for this post =) Hmm do you mean different logos? Or different colour schemes? Both? That's a very valid pet peeve and I can see why it is difficult to work with low quality pictures. I used to make t-shirts and some people would want me to put a picture on the shirt which is all fine but if the picture they sent me was blurry/not focused or of good quality it's hard to make the picture on the t-shirt any better lol. Great answer I completely agree, as I've mentioned above I've made t-shirts for people and it's difficult to have the picture on the t-shirt high quality when the picture they give me is blurry/unfocused. It is indeed a frustrating thing. I'll admit, I'm probably one of the clients that choose an ugly design but to be honest that's why I always ask the designer to choose. I have 0 sense of style or taste when it comes to designing which is why I usually hire someone else to do designs for me. I should not be allowed to choose LOL
16. I agree with both of you @uptrendfinancialsignal & Ini. I think networking is important however, networking isn't everything. You also have to use other tools such as social media and maybe even good old fashion posters (depending on your audience).
17. Very well said Ini knowing your audience is extremely important. It helps you figure out advertising techniques and what that audience is receptive to etc.

That's insane! I have seen one at the store the other day and thought to myself $700 is extremely high especially if you're going to have to pay a lot for the games and to play online. It's crazy how expensive gaming has gotten. I'm happy I am not one to spend a lot of time gaming so I never really spend money on games. I have an old NES system and N64 and that's about my gaming life. I do play games on my laptop and my phone but all of them are free. I am scared to see how much these gaming consols will cost us in the future and how much more you'll have to pay for in-app purchases.

21. So I've been able to calculate how much each variable ingredient would cost and then also added it up to see what the price of each kind of banana bread would be. I have also put in a few extra dollars for electricity. I think $10 for the plain banana bread is a good price and then if they choose to add chocolate or nuts it is extra. I agree with your statement though that it is easier to justify a lower price than a higher one if I need to adjust it later. Thanks for your reply =)

After delivering the final project to the customer I tend to let them know that it was pleasure working for them and hope to be able to help them in the future. Other than that I don't pester them. I feel like when people pester me to hire them I tend to blacklist them. I don't mind them telling me what their business is and how the can be of help to me but annoying me or constantly trying to get me to buy their products/services is annoying.

I'm not good at design to be honest, I never really learned how to use those programs. I also feel like I lack the imaginations I'd need to have in order to do designs. Though many many years ago when I was 18 I made a heart emoji that jumped up and down and was super proud of myself. That's probably the last thing I designed/created though.
