I LOVE to cook, I really enjoy making my classic French butter tarts, homemade mac and cheese, my sweet potato buns, my chicken & cheese wrapped in croissants, poutine of course, my potato cheesy bread.
  2. As you may already know, I am working on an inclusive and dynamic online forum designed for creatives, professionals, and dreamers in the fashion, beauty, and media industries. Whether you're a makeup artist, model, photographer, stylist, or actor, this will be your space to connect, collaborate, and grow. I am working on getting more posts/threads put up and get some personalization's done before the launch but I'm hoping it'll be a few more weeks before we can go ahead and launch.
  3. I personally measure it by how many conversations/users log onto the forum on a daily basis, currently my forum just got released to the public so I'm not expecting a lot of activity or new sign-ups. Because it's pretty niche I know it'll be a while before it gains traction and becomes more known/active. However, once the forum is active and there are a lot of members returning daily I would probably measure my success by how many times regular members post.
  4. I agree, sometimes we take our mental health and allow it to be all of us or who we are but we are much more than that and mental health is just a part of who we are, not everything, Same thing with people who have ADHD or Aspergers, it is only a part of who they are but it isn't the only thing about them that matters. I'm glad you're point of view is changing and you're seeing the value of building bonds and connecting, that's a huge accomplishment. Thank you so much for your kind words! I'm starting today in a few hours, and I am extremely excited!
  5. I've completed my part
  6. Indeed! It's like they can smell it and think "Hmm now's the perfect time to annoy them" Sorry to hear about your stomach, I hope you feel better soon. My stomach has been cramping but for a completely different reason :P Being a woman is fun for most days but there are some days during the month where I really question why I had to be born a woman lol.
  7. I personally would not as I'm not really religious nor do I really care to read about a lot of religious things to be honest. I'm not against religion and I think that it can be an amazing thing for some people it just isn't for me. Another reason I wouldn't really join a religious thread nor I would I create a religious forum is I wouldn't really know what to post or have any idea what to talk about as I'm not religious myself.
  8. My cat Barb :P She wants love and attention but I'm trying to work on my makeup business before I get so busy with my regular full time day job lol. I love her, but sometimes she picks the most inconvenient times to want to get my attention.
  9. I also never lock old threads. I don't see the point, if a member wants to reply to a thread that was started a very long time ago I encourage it.
  10. I'm a makeup artist who hosts workshops for teenagers overcome their acne with better skin care routines and finding the right products for them. After the workshop I want to have a selfie station where the teenagers can take selfies and feel more confident on their skin care journey. I'm wanting to get some selfie signs made for the following phrases: Acne Doesn’t Define Me Glowing With Confidence Skincare = Self-Care Glow Up in Progress Flawless Starts with Self-Love I’m More Than My Breakouts Confidence is my best filter Beauty Beyond the Blemishes I want them to be eye catching, fun and something a teenager would want to take a selfie with. If you are able to design these selfie signs for a reasonable price please contact me. Because I am also putting money into the workshops I do need to pick someone who is reasonably priced and can provide me (and the teens) great signs. I will ask for some samples just to make sure we are on the same page =) Thank you so much!
  11. Thank you! ❤️ I'm excited to start and see how it all works out =) Awh thanks Cory! ❤️ I love that you've overcome your mental health issues and trauma because you deserve to be happy and healthy. I myself have gone through trauma and mental illness battles but one thing I've realized is that I've survived 100% of the things I went through and that's a pretty great statistic and if I can get through that I can get through anything. Trauma makes you resilient and that means you are incredibly strong. Trauma and mental health does not define you and you get to write your own story, no one else has that power. Stay strong Cory, you're winning at life =)
  12. Thanks love! ❤️ Don't worry it doesn't mean I won't have time for Administrata, I'll still be here and helping out =) It just means I will only be on after my work hours and on days off.
  13. I am soo excited that I am finally able to go back to work since my traumatic brain injury that occurred in October of 2019. Doctors and specialists didn't think this day would ever come but I am thrilled to have pulled through, kept consistent with rehabilitation and therapy and now I am cleared to work and have a job lined up next week =). To think just 6 years ago I had to relearn how to walk, communicate, and remember things to now being able to walk, talk and work! It's been a lot of hurdles, dedication and stubbornness but I got there! Hahaha. It started last year when I took schooling for Makeup Artistry, something I've been interested in for decades but never got the opportunity to follow through with it, I decided that then was the best time as any to emerge myself into school and work hard to graduate. Though it was an online course it was definitely educational and helpful. Once I graduated the course, I decided to start my own business even though I was aware that over 95% of makeup artists also have other careers/jobs as it is incredibly difficult to find steady work as a makeup artist. And though I do still have clients from time to time and I have started my own makeup seminars for teens, adults and people 35 years and older I am not making enough to support myself and help my boyfriend with as much bills as I'd like to. Because of that I've decided to start a full-time job which is going to be a call center setting however it is remote so I get to work from home which will be amazing on bad pain days as I don't have to go anywhere. I am definitely excited to start this new adventure of working again however I am a little intimidated because I'm not starting off with part-time hours, I'm going straight to full-time hours and really pushing myself to strive forward regardless of my TBI. I could really use some encouraging words to help me stay optimistic and excited for new phase in life. I'd also love to hear about a time you've overcame something you weren't sure you able to but succeeded anyways. Thank you for reading and hopefully replying :P
  14. Thanks for all the hard work and dedication you put into this forum, we will be appreciating for years to come ❤️ Don't forget about us :P

I appreciate your honesty, I will still post 5 posts on your forum because I am thankful that you have remained honest and it would have been easy to just fake it and use AI.
