Exactly, and AI has already been taking a lot of freelance work, especially with graphic design. I know many that use AI to generate graphics, and banners for their sites. If AI gets rolled out into stores that'll be wild.

You cannot expect immediate results unless you already have an established community. GIF's have helped me increase the engagement with my members.

I can definitely see AI ruining a lot of services on Fiverr, because people are able to get what they want from AI a lot of the time.

Do you ever lock old threads on your forum? I've locked a few threads that were no longer relevant because a lot of my posts are promotions with a end date.

Staff members can help with the initial posts your community needs to start up, but it's not needed as long you have a solid plan to attract members. I started my forum as the only staff member.

They probably paid a pretty penny to acquire hosting.com. That name wouldn't be cheap!

Nobody likes Reddit, but it is popular. However, Discord is a threat to forums. I see a lot of servers starting up with similar sections you'd see on forums.

Small forums make next to nothing. My forum has 350+ members, 20 average online per 24 hours, and it generates a little revenue. It depends what you define "worth it". I'd say it's worth it if you own a big board, and you monetize it properly.

It's become easier to grow my forum as we've become bigger. My current challenge is optimizing my site for revenue, so we can sustain growth for the long haul, and turn into a profitable business.
