The more you post your links the better. I don't do it for big traffic, but every little bit of traffic helps. Also when you link your site on more sites with do follow links it helps you get more of a boost in search engines, and get more traffic from SEO.

Promoting on social media, and post on forums including my signature link are what I do daily new attract new members.

I use Namecheal for all my domain names. I don't even consider other domain providers.

Certain add-ons do, anything that improves my site excites me, especially if it's a big feature that may attract more users.

I started my forum with MyBB than I switched to Xenforo. I would start with Xenforo right away.

I started using forums when I got interested in building sites. Forums are a great way to get a community started.

I spend more time on my forum/site than I do any other site.

It does not matter, but it's usually better to own the .com. I think the . community extension is really good for forums, and I also use a . community domain for my site.

Lead by example. If you're persistent with posting quality content, you'll get some members that do the same. It varies between members, but chances are you'll get some members that make great posts.

I know some that do it, but I've been against it with my own forums. I like to build my community naturally, and with post exchanges.

I struggle converting lurking members into users that make posts on my forums as a lot of them come to my site for passwords to play our poker games.

My goal is to keep expanding my site, and hopefully have a self sustaining business in 2025.

I like bigger communities better, but with an active team that gets rid of all the spam. I've seen forums fade away, because the staff stopped being active.

Growth is self explanatory to me, but seeing more members online, and regular activity in the community is a growing/striving forum.

I love using sidebars on my forums. I've tweaked the placements of the widgets on my forums a lot.
