  1. Do you lock old threads or topics so it can't get further replies? When should topics be locked on a forum?
  2. The thread "What are you currently listening to" has more replies than any other on topic on my forum. What topic is the most active on your forums?
  3. I wish they had something like that for Xenforo. That'd be sweet to be able to do that from the admin panel.
  4. Stay updated with the latest Poker headlines and news. Join the conversation, share insights, and stay informed about what’s new in the poker world. Discuss tournaments, strategies, and the biggest poker events in the community!
  5. I spent about $200-$300 from my poker winnings in contests, freerolls, and buying content for my forums.
  6. I read in a post that you should monitor your website stats every 2 weeks. I usually check Google analytics and search console daily, because I like seeing how my site performs. How often do you monitor/check your website stats?
  7. Season 6 of Cobra Kai. I'm waiting for a couple shows to start back up, but I'm usually picky on what TV shows I watch. It needs to have me hooked in to watch a series.
  8. I had a member tell me to go "fuck myself" on my forum. You can't please everybody, but I try to make sure my community is welcoming to new members. Negative members will be warned, and maybe banned depending on the situation. I might give them a temporary ban for a "X" amount of days for them to calm down.
  9. I'd wait until your ready to launch the forum. It'll help you get new members when your paid posters are regularly creating new content.
  10. What the difference from the current editor?
  11. One of the most difficult challenges is building a target audience. If you have key incentives to appeal to those users, they'll come.
  12. Personally, I don't concern myself with what members are active. I've had members that were lurkers, and contributed more as they seen the community grow.
  13. I think it was phpbb. I honestly can't remember it was so many years ago. I've used most forum softwares over the years.
  14. I try to make at least 1 thread per day on my forum. I do go days without creating new discussions, but I'm always responding to topics when I can add value, and interact with my members. I like to have a good balance of topics started by more than just me on my forum.

I'd like a small posting package for my forum. Thanks.
  16. Usually members will follow where the admins are active, so if you post a lot content in your main sections, your members will likely do the same. I typically ignore the off topic part of my forum.

Anchovies. I hate eating any fish to be honest, but anchovies on pizza is gross.
  18. I joined admin forums, post exchanges, and promoted all over social media. I filled my forums with content, and I continue to post content regularly on my forums.
  19. It varies I've had days where I did promotions and we had 7-8 members join within 24 hours on my forum, it's been taking a month to go from 175 members to 200(198 members ATM). Slowly getting bigger.
  20. What's your thoughts on forums with a big staff team? How many staff members does your forum have? My forum currently only has 3 staff members including myself. I don't plan on adding to the team, until we get bigger.
  21. I would lowkey plot on how to crush them.
  22. Meek Mill. I'll never listen to another Meek Mill song 😂
  23. Most/all addons for Xenforo are paid plugins since the software is for users with a paid license. There are plenty of open source forum softwares with addons that may suit your needs. SMF would be a good choice, if you're looking for a free solution.
  24. I have a few domains I've been sitting on that I'm not using, but I do plan to eventually get around into developing them. I don't buy domains unless I plan on building sites for them.
