  1. My freelance job is a side job, I still don't earn enough to be able to live from it full time, if I lived in another country maybe I could, but the cost of living in my country is too high to still live completely from my freelance job, maybe in the future I will be able to get it or I will move to a country where I can work remotely and my freelance job covers all the costs.
  2. What I do is try to have just the right amount of job to be able to finish it on time, and from time to time do a week of technological detox which helps me to disconnect almost completely from all the freelance work and electronic screens that in the long term can have negative side effects if you don't take a break from them.
  3. Yes, I still make some money on survey sites, but not as much as before since I am now working longer as a writer, but when I have some free time and I don't have much work to do I try to do some surveys to earn some extra money, but it should be noted that paid survey services work better in certain geographical areas, known as Tier-1 countries
  4. It depends on the work I have each day to do, some days only 4-6 hours a day, and others I have even come to work as a freelancer for 12 hours, it all depends, but I usually work about 4-6 hours a day, even if I don't have enough work to do.

Yes, although I have never been asked for a refund I think it is optimal for your clients to feel safe to hire your services, if they are not happy with a job done they should have the opportunity to offer enough evidence that you offer a refund for it, if your work is not of quality, it is the least you can offer.
  6. Yes, many times, when I have worked long-term with a client I have ended up contacting and keeping in touch with them via email, that means that the client has saved you in their contact list and will probably contact you for future jobs, it all depends on how interested the client is in your services.
  7. Never, all the work I have done has been paid in its fair measure, they have never asked me to return the money because the work has not been satisfactory for him in the last stay, I feel proud of it, one must know that the work has to be done with a good quality, that is why they hire you.
  8. Most of the time I get it once the job is done, I've never had a client refuse to pay me after the work is done, so at the moment I have no problem getting paid after the work is done, I think it's the fairest thing to the client who is hiring me.
  9. I've been a freelancer since 2019, at first, I started doing small jobs in all the places that offered some money, no matter how little, while I was learning I decided to dedicate myself almost exclusively to writing or moderation services, although I plan to continue evolving.
  10. I think that for many people who already have some experience managing websites, it is more comfortable to buy a website that already has some traffic and is built, for people with less experience I think it is better to create their own so they start from scratch and start gaining experience and skills on website creation and their correct management.
  11. I've tried to start this business many times but it's not something I've ventured into yet, and I think the competition in that business is too overwhelming today, I prefer other types of businesses that I know I can get more out of without dealing with an indecent amount of competitiveness.
  12. Most of the games that I know that pay to use are for mobile devices, so I don't know if most of them you can use on the computer, all the games I have played in which I could get some money only had the option of being used on the mobile device, I don't know why this is, perhaps to monetization through pop-up ads.

I have heard many times about this business, and I have received very positive reviews about such a business, it is something that I would definitely like to carry out in the future, but I think I still need to educate myself more about it to start it, it seems like a profitable business in the long run.
  14. Yes, technological detox sometimes has a great effect on me by the time I return to work as a freelancer, a week of disconnection is enough to come back with much more strength and more motivation, it is good to take a break from everything that has to do with digital screens and remote work.
  15. I receive payments by different means of payment because sometimes I adapt to those provided by the client himself, but if I have to choose a preferred means of payment it is cryptocurrencies since it is more comfortable and cheaper for me to use them, more than for example PayPal that takes a good percentage of money with each payment, or even Payeer, Payoneer, or any other payment method.
  16. Freelance work is a side job for me at the moment, so I don't earn enough to dedicate myself full-time to it, although it is true that I am making more money than before with such a job but I still cannot live completely from freelance work.
  17. I don't trust 100$ on Trustpilot, I've seen site reviews claim that the site was totally legitimate and even have many stars to later realize that the site was a scam, on trustpilot there are many fake and paid reviews, it's good to take a look at truspilot along with other platforms to see if the site is legit, but it's not 100% reliable in my opinion.
  18. It depends on the topic I'm going to talk about, that is, if I know enough I don't need research or at least not much (because I've already done it previously) if it's a topic that I don't have so much knowledge about or I need to refresh my memory a little, I'll do a little research before publishing anything.
  19. Yes, because if I write about topics that I am passionate about or I like it is easier to write and the words flow faster, it is not the same, of course, with something that I do not like so much, in that case I will have to put more effort and even research more on the subject so as not to write a text of poor quality and perhaps without much sense for the reader.
  20. But the audience in the first stay is created with good content, few people will want to be attentive to your content if your content is quite poor, both things go hand in hand, if you create good content I think you will almost certainly create a good community and therefore a good audience.

I think that as a writer what you can best take care of is your writing and therefore your reputation, with that you will be able to create a good list of contacts and clients who may require your work in the future if you give a good job, that will speak for you more than anything else because at the end of the day, your job is to write.
  22. I don't use my social networks expressly to promote my writing works, but I have written for many forums and I continue to write in them, it is something similar to a social network from my point of view, talking about forums, so it is a good showcase also for your writing, perhaps in the future I will use my social networks to promote my writing works.

I don't use it to improve my mental health per se, but sometimes I have vented writing about a topic that is going around in my mind, writing can bring out feelings that you have inside and capture them in your writing, letting them out and can reduce stress, that's why so many people recommend writing a diary, in order to bring to light all those things that torment you in your day to day, but also those good things that are happening in your life.

I think that having a portfolio helps new potential clients to hire your work, otherwise, you will have to show individually past work that you have done, in my case I do not have a portfolio, but I am thinking of making one soon, I created a portfolio draft to apply to a writing job a few months ago.
  25. When I edit my writing work it is sometime later, that is, when I realize that I made a mistake in something or needed to provide more information about the topic I was talking about, for example, I write an article, then I learn more about the topic, I can then edit the article sometime later and add more content to the work previously done. I think this is a good way to edit your content, make it evolve, and improve it.
