I started using forums back in 2008. I was 11-12 years old at the time. I had joined a site called UpperDeckKids, which was rewards site created by the sports card company Upper Deck. On the site, they also had a forum, and a lot of us became friends on that platform. UpperDeckKids continued to have a lot of issues on its forum, such as all posts being on moderation approval, and some posts never getting approved. This prompted for us to try and create our own forums, especially on ProBoards. Just about everyone in our group had their own ProBoards forum back then. Anyway, as others got out of the hobby, I’ve stayed in it.
