Forum software would have to be vBulletin I took a look at the version 6 admin CP its still way to much to handle. But that is nothing compared to Joomla and PHPNuke.

The courses can be made via a Database I use a database setup for my tutorial section on Anime Social I can get the same functionality without having to shell out 80 to 160 a month on cloud hosting. I tried the whole invision cloud a month ago I wasn't impressed. I am on a fixed budget so spending that kind of money just for live topics (discord or their failed chat that they tried in the 3.0 days) or the courses which can be made with a database, custom fields, and categories, I don't see the hype.

I sampled the free demo out of curiosity, and I have to admit, it didn't impress me at all. Transitioning from a Dark theme to the Admin CP is jarring – unless I've overlooked a setting in the extensive options list, the brightness of the Admin CP is quite overwhelming. Considering I possess an older license, I might upgrade and utilize it for a low-stakes project, such as a theming test board, which I wouldn't mind being compromised. However, I would not employ it for a fully-fledged community platform.

I'm about to suprise everyone. Ikonboard was the first forum software I ever started, a solid CGI-based platform. Then, I met a developer from Ikonboard who introduced me to a project by an ex-Ikonboard employee named Matt. His software has since become one of the top three in forum software.
