Once you get used to it everything seems logical. No need for complicated syntax. CSS and the new template hooks are much easier to deal with. I would suggest you get into pages. There are endless things you can do with. Some things I did with it was to create a link directory, video page like YouTube and a bug tracker. I like what you did with the effects. Looks good. Can't wait to see it live.

Chat on one of my sites was very popular. Conversations in the chat were archived and reposted in the forum. Those threads would become very popular. When I took the chat down because there wasn't a version for xenforo 2.3 yet the users kept asking how much longer. Saying that I wouldn't chat again. While it didn't distract from the forum and in fact took the smalltalk out of the forums I wouldn't add it again because of the fact the site went without because of an update.

Had a very popular off topic forum. A member didn't like a few of the members. Long standing feud that carried over to my site. I had no problem with it since one section was dedicated to debates which led to fights. This user wanted to buy it asked me how much I would take for it. I gave him a very high number. To my surprise he accepted. I gave his admin access to the database and files. He set it up on his server. A week later all the posts were gone. He shut the site down. He bought it to close it.

On the forums I converted to Invision I have strong passwords turned on. It's an option.

When I use a VPN, which is rarely, I use NordVPN. Had a sub with them for years.

In the past that was how staff and I chose to deal with problem users. I have since mellowed and no longer have the site where it was allowed.

I used to share Adsense revenue. I am going to start doing that again. I am also thinking about paying to post. Once I get my tech sites consolidated into 1 I will start some sort of revenue sharing for staff.

Mine is Frank. My dad wanted to name me after my grandfather. My mom wanted me to be named after her deceased brother. So I was Robert Frank instead of Frank Robert.

Starting out I do it all myself. Once the community builds I'll add staff. On an active forum I like to have 3 admins and 10-20 moderators. I also like to make sure they are from all over the World so there is staff available 24/7.

Many ways to do it. It's the hidden meaning of things that work best. Calling someone a tool or a fool works very well too.

I am in process of converting from xenforo to Invision Community. There are so many thing you can do with it that you can't with other software. It's easy to create a skin for it. It's easy to change the layout to a more modern design. Not to mention pages which is a powerful CMS. I create a directory with it.
