Can you confirm that this can work for tablet users also? Asking because I'm amongst the minority that doesn't use a phone...
2. This is something I've been wanting to ask... at what point did forums in general suffer a decline in popularity? I might take a stab in the dark and say the late 2010s or perhaps the start of this decade (even if they become more busier during the early phase of the pandemic).
3. For me, it's about 90/10... and I am doing my best to make my forum active as it used to be, even by encouraging my most currently active members to invite others in to boost activity further (and it worked before).
4. Debashis That was quick... 😯 Thanks very much :) (and by the way, I've left replies to some of your posts so hope you go back and respond to them, haha)
5. Thanks very much. Your posts were superb (y)
6. No, no sidebars for me...
7. mindsConnected https://mindsconnect.jcink.net A forum where all things technological are discussed, from operating systems to hardware, as well as engineering and cyber security.

Ditto. But I'll say ham also... doesn't look right on a pizza in my opinion though that's just me :P
9. https://mindsconnect.jcink.net/ I request the 10 threads + 40 posts order for the above forum please. Just to note, I've recently turned off email verification for accounts so any of you can quickly go right ahead and post upon registration :P However, please confine your postings within the niche-related areas. Thanks to anyone that does this :) (y)
10. In your face, Microsoft! 🤪

I chose my niche from my interest in technology... and to be fair, I would've made a forum based around that in 2015! 😯

Hello, I know you :P Welcome! :)

Indeed I am a loner, and have been for years.
14. Back when I first had my forum, out of the first ten members I have, six were active. Since reopening however, it's only three. Not fussed really.
15. No, I'll pass on that one thanks very much. I don't allow duplicate accounts on my forum anyway.
16. Exactly that. Same with shoutboxes as said earlier. Meanwhile, a wee chat thread wouldn't do any harm, would it? 🫤
17. The reason why I felt negative about that is the fact that topics made mostly by the forum owner can be a turn off to any new visitors... But in general, sometimes I have other things to do and other times I lack the motivation to do such a thing. This is one part I hate about forum leadership, if I have to be brutally honest to you.
18. The thing is, Discord isn't forum software though...
19. Point number 4: Never add a Discord server. As what Al once said, it's very easy to kiss your forum goodbye with it.
20. Looks great 😁 (y)
21. Yes, that's grand (y) Thanks again! 😁
22. I keep away from social media though... but news articles, yes. But I expect my members to pull their weight on the issue also, because I can't always do it alone...

This is Sam... a one-quarter Maine Coon cat 😊
24. How so? Would you mean that Jcink would still be fairly rudimentary if ZB was still around? I ask because, I get the feeling that several improvements were done on it as soon as ZB was at death's door, and that John may have known that many flocked to Jcink as a result.
25. The only mistake I made was using a forum software I wasn't all too familiar with (ZetaBoards), when I previously used InvisionFree. Back then, I should've used Jcink where that had some closeness to it... Also, if this counts, RX Community would've been completely different... where it would've been a forum dedicated to bootleg games as I had a YouTube channel with that focus but, due to my limited knowledge of them, I would've spliced general gaming and tech in it as well.
