1. These are the kinds of jobs that I'd probably be interested in, but... I probably lack the college education, the network, the experience, and knowing the correct job titles (LOL). Not just for the leadership part, I couldn't care less about that. I love to create.
2. Thank you for this, InMyOpinion although, I'm not sure where else I can dump my link. It's in my siggy, it's in the Directory, in fact, I think it's also in the web banner-link advertisement-thingy that Cedric has here! ๐Ÿ˜…And, It's in my profile. Anyway, soon, whenever I have enough people interested, I'll start up a PbP game. Write now, I'm just focusing on my cross-over mega fan-fiction. (OMG! I totally wrote a pun in there!) Side note: I've hit the Zero Field! I currently have ZERO anythings looking at my forum! It's dead! Waaaaah! ๐Ÿ˜ญI need to do something about that... goes to kick Google's butt...
3. I'll usually check out signatures when I have some idle time. I've reconnected with old ...lost friends because I followed a signature link that led me down a rabbit hole.
4. Taking a break. This is especially true when you don't have anybody else to fall back on. The forum will still be there (assuming the bills are paid), and maybe, somebody will show up to stir some conversation. But don't take too long of a break. Pivoting in topics. Open a new section, explore a new angle to old topics, start conversations involving other hobbies in your Off-topic area. I feel these aren't too in-depth, and probably seem like common sense, but they're what helps me out as a Lone Wolf, as it were to persevere.
5. Ah! I thought the deadline was April 7. Okay. Well, in that case, I'm really in need of a much better web banner for my site. Admittedly, I just googled cute anime girls and settled on the main background image, played with the various layer settings in GIMP, and added some text. I really am not a graphic designer, I'm a writer! Still, what I did, I consider to be an achievement, but I know other people can do much better, and a better ... eye-candy will hopefully entice the Otaku to join my community??? MUHAHAHAhahahahahaha! :devilish: What I'm looking for, and if I don't win this, then I'll be paying for an option...eventually anyway. Because my forum focuses on OLD anime combined with role playing, and my focus is on bringing newbies into the subculture of old anime (generally pre-2010) I'd like to eventually have some iconic characters from those eras showcased. Adding bits of table top role playing (like dice, maps, books, a pizza??) would be an added bonus. Honestly, if I could draw worth a darn, I'd just draw some iconic characters like Sailor Moon, Ranma, Nuku Nuku, etc gathered around a table hilariously playing a table top RPG. Maybe even as chibi forms of their characters, only because that, in my opinion screams hilarious chaos At least, that's what I see in my imagination.

I have mixed feelings about this...
7. I personally prefer a warmer climate, but then again, I've been told I'm a cold-hearted b.... I like about 72F.
8. Aww, I just noticed this! Oh well. There's always next time!

So, I'm working on a fan fiction, that has started out as a simple crossover idea, and is quickly blossoming into a novel! I've had some sticky issues that I've found myself boxed into a corner, and so I thought, I'm going to use some AI to help brainstorm some solutions. This, my friends, is a responsible way to use Artificial Intelligence when writing! My simplistic idea was to combine Fate Testarossa (Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha), Sasami Kawai (Magical Project S / Tenchi Muyo!), and Skuld (Ah! My Goddess) on a quest of Coming to Age, while being trapped within a magical-prohibitive dimension. Their goal was a simple one: To rescue all the captured magical girls, and free themselves from this dimension, all by themselves -- without using the help they're typically dependent upon. While this was already a good story, it lacked the umph, and tugging of heart strings that I love writing into my stories. But as I finished watching the anime Magical Project S, I found a better antagonist role-model, perfectly suited to be a personal nemesis for all three girls! Anyway, while I was brainstorming throughout the past couple of days, my outline is becoming so juicy! I'm literally beside myself with anticipation. I can't wait to begin drafting, but... I've turned the entire planet Earth into a magical prison, powered by Zero-Point Energy. But I don't know all that much about ZPE, so I asked AI to help me create something that's somewhat plausible. It literally said: And I must admit, it laid out a pretty comprehensive system that would totally work (at least within the fictional setting I'm using.) Needless to also say, I was highly amused and broke out into a fit of giggles while waiting for the subway when I read that title! Now I've got a fair amount of good content that I can work with. There's quite a bit I don't care for that the AI suggested, but there are some true gems of ideas that are totally worth exploring.
10. For the longest time, I'd sleep with my head under neath my covers and blankets. Yeah, everybody worries about suffocation, but you're body is actually amazing and you'll unconsciously uncover your head if you're having difficulties breathing. At least I must, because even as an adult, sleeping totally alone, I'd wake up with my head exposed.
11. Glorified cashier in a wholesale warehouse. Front-end Supervisor. I'm still carrying the title "Blame Acceptance Specialist", even after leaving Help Desk more than 15 years ago.
12. I use the same screen name across all forums. I'm designated as Administrator on my own forum, which I believes gives me enough recognition within my own forum space, I don't think it's needed or appropriate on a hobby site to use a "curtain account". On a professional customer/owner/brand based site, then yes, I think it would be needed.

True! I like having the subtitles on because I'll usually watch something multiple times. Every time, it's like watching the show for the first time again, because I'm always noticing something new. Besides, my Japanese comprehension just sucks!

Welcome! Small forums are a relaxing alternative to the big mega-platforms!
15. This sounds similar to setting up a Facebook group or a dedicated BlueSky account. I'm honestly not sure how much engagement over at your forum you'd receive from this, because as I've found through experience, most people just want to hang out on the platforms they've already invested time into (Facebook, Twitter, Reddit, etc).
16. Today was the first time I heard about either of these two platforms.
17. As a supporter and user of FireFox, I'd totally jump ship from Google over to Thundermail...I even like the naming...reminds me of the power of Thor! LOL But..... the reason I use Google is because it's free. I don't have the money to pay for even Microsoft Office 365 (at $7+/month). So, I guess I'll just wait and see.
18. I'm totally not confident that I'd win, given that my site is currently an overgrown weed-infested graveyard of dormancy, it's a cluttered mess, and is in desperate need of an overhaul, snazzy banner, an influx of active members, and probably a good honest roasting, but.... I'm game, as they say. Site Name: The Kawaii Klub Description: A gathering oasis for the anime Otaku and role playing enthusiast to not only discuss their favorite older, okay ancient, anime shows and table top role playing games , but we also encourage creativity within writing and collaborative story telling using the medium of Play by Post gaming. I enjoy writing creative fiction, and recently I was able to buy the Scrivener program (like in December...). Well, today is the first time I'm actually using it, because I've got an awesome story idea in my mind and I want to start working on it. But, I'm a bit overwhelmed with everything that Scrivener can do. So, my question(s) are: Do you write fiction? What software do you use? Do you have any advice to offer? What's your go-to method for writing? Do you outline, or just fly by the seat of your pants? Do you prefer writing in Third person or First person perceptive? What genre(s) do you write within? I do outline, kind of. I'll create the beginning of the story, and the end. Then I'll think up of some major plot points, and then determine what the major climax of the story will be. I like to keep my outline loose and flexible, because experience has taught me that the characters will usually take over writing the story for me and blow my outline to shreds. My favorite genres fall under the anime umbrella (go figure), which is a bastardization of Magical Girl, Gender Bender, Comedy, Science Fiction, and Harem. And usually, I'll pick a main character and write within the First Person perspective. I really like loosing the reader in the mind of the character. (I've been named a Character Sadist on one occasion. LMAO.)

I want to add that many people think "Oh, I can make money just by writing?!" But the truth is that you'll be making pennies and dimes most of the time, and you won't be writing what YOU want to write. This isn't a profession where you'll be like Orson Scott Card or Steven King writing brilliant fictional stories. From what I've seen, most writing gigs feature commercials (copy writing), non-fiction, maybe technical writing. If you want to write fiction like I do, you should consider an alternative way to fund your passion.
21. Some days, I feel this IS the Boston MBTA. The subway (Redline) seems to be standing room only some days, and it doesn't help matters since they've "upgraded" the subway cars to these new wider, hi-tech, computerized cars. Sure, there's lots of space to walk up and down the length of the car, but the seats are all hard plastic, uncomfortable (my butt slides toward the edge of the seat) and the seats are wider (I guess to accommodate overweight people better?) I have witnessed people give up their prized seat for elderly people with canes and stuff, but if you're suffering invisibly, like I do with advanced plantar fascitiis, then you're SOL.
22. I consider all of that as part of a start up action. ๐Ÿ˜Š
23. I sucks getting older. ๐Ÿ˜…
24. Definitely a morning person. I have the majority of my energy in the morning. I have no problems waking up at 04:30 every day... these days my bladder is the culprit. Mornings are when I have most of my creative ideas too. If only work didn't get in the way...
