Yeah, the price tag is outrageous and I'd rather spend money on an "old-school" console than a new one. We have a PS4 that suits our needs perfectly well. I wouldn't know since it remains in my brother's room. It was originally mine, but I gave it to him for Christmas after buying a gaming laptop, which is now dead.

We've been there multitudes of times to visit Disney World and Universal Studios. The first time we went it was free.

It is indeed, thank you! Welcome yourself! (y)
  4. I owned a Yu-Gi-Oh forum on InvisionFree for a brief period. Yu-Gi-Oh Underground sounds familiar. I was on Pojo for the longest time to talk about Yu-Gi-Oh and trade cards online.
  5. Same here, it was known as Yu-Gi-Oh Realms at the time. The site is still around, but it's known as HeroClix Realms now, I'm pretty sure it's dead.

I work at Michaels, the arts and crafts store, and I think I get glitter on me every day from the various products that have it on them. When I had to stock the wreaths recently, I felt like I took a bath in glitter. Suffice it to say, I loathe glitter.

I'm not even a writer, but a forum enthusiast, and I use Grammarly. It helps keep me from making typing mistakes and helps me learn how to structure my sentences.
  8. I think my first community was back in 2005. I know for a fact my first resource board was created back in 2006. Before that, I had a Yu-Gi-Oh TCG board that had a decent run, but the more interested in coding and forum support I had, I started leaning toward resource boards. I've had about two boards now with thousands of members/posts, both of which were forum resource boards.
  9. I primarily depend on signature advertising. Seeing as my forum is a resource board for a specific type of forum software, I post like crazy on the official support board and I think my signature brings in a lot of visitors/members that are looking for resources since the forum software no longer has an official resource board. I also post my forum in advertisement forums, where welcome. The SEO for my site isn't the best, but according to the Google Search Console I sometimes receive clicks and a decent amount of impressions.

Where would you like to travel to and where have you traveled? I think visiting Japan would be pretty neat with the gaming technology and type of culture. I'd also like to visit the Mall of America one day. I reside in the USA (Texas specifically) and I've been to a lot of states whether we stayed there or drove through there. I've never been out of the country.

What are your favorite media's of many types? My favorite film is The Lord of the Rings. My favorite TV show is Game of Thrones. My favorite video game is Pokemon GO. My favorite band changes somewhat consistently, but at this time, it's Limp Bizkit.

Do you have a dream career that you would greatly admire doing? I'd love to be a JavaScript web developer, but due to the fast-paced world of technology and my lack of motivation to learn new frameworks/libraries, I don't think it's my destiny. I admire it enough as a hobby, however.

What indoor and outdoor activities do you do? I'm mainly indoors, glued to my computer and iPhone screen. The only time I do outdoor activities is when I visit my sister or she visits us. I may take occasional walks around the block when it's not too hot or cold. But for the most part, technology consumes me as it does many of us.
  14. I have only been in the retail and food industry thus far. I currently work at the arts and crafts store, Michaels. I've been there for about a year and a half. What about you?

Hey everyone, I'm sure most people will recognize me by my username. I've been on message boards for over two decades. The first forum software I created a forum on was InvisionFree, and when ZetaBoards came along one of my forums was converted to the ZetaBoards software. Now that Zathyus Networks is no more, I use Jcink. It may be old as dirt and considered outdated, but I use it as a similar service to what I've used in the past for my coding and message board skills. I have been coding for about a decade. My hobbies include coding, message boards, Pokemon GO, collecting Yu-Gi-Oh TCG cards, and listening to hard rock/metal. I don't do much aside from work and stuff at the house. I've only been in the retail and food industry all my life. The place I worked at the longest was Walmart for about 9 - 10 years, now I've been with the arts and crafts store, Michaels for about a year and a half, which is considerably easier and laid-back than Walmart and other retail jobs I've had. Thanks for reading, I hope to have a blast on this community!

I suppose I also need to learn to keep my privacy to myself because I've told some people about my personal life in the past and was harassed for it. I suppose that is where my fear comes from, I tell people about my personal life and they harass me or go around spreading my personal life to others like wildfire. All in all, I can choose what I do and do not tell people. They do not need to know about my personal life. I've heard people tell me this before you have to train your brain to think positively. It is tough because sometimes we get stuck in our world of negativity thinking it's the only way to process our feelings. But I'm sure with enough practice and patience I could think more positively about making friends and building relationships. It's not the end of the world if someone rejects me, and it's also not always a problem with me. Thanks for your wise advice!
  17. I've never monetized any of my forums. I may have considered Google AdSense once, but that consideration didn't last long. I've never quite seen my forums as a way to profit, but to enjoy and fulfill myself.

Yeah, I know what you mean. I guess I often put worst-case scenarios in my head and "what ifs" when it pertains to friendships and relationships. I've only made one IRL friend in my adulthood and we're no longer friends and I've never been in a relationship. This is proof of how I let my fears of their judgment cloud my judgment.

The fear of building friendships or relationships due to feeling crucially judged for my problems.
  20. Old-school Yu-Gi-Oh cards bring on the nostalgia to me, which is why I collect most of them.

I'd rather have a gaming PC than spend that much on a console.
  22. Do not tell people your deepest, darkest secrets because they will likely harass or criticize you immensely for it.
