Hey everyone, this topic has surely been quiet lately. 🤫 What's everyone up to these days?

It's more of a hobby than anything, but since I provide support and resources to those in need, I treat it somewhat of a business to those seeking such things. I don't make any money doing it, I mainly do it as a hobby, but I have one forum available where people can pay real currency in exchange for resources. Since its debut, it has yet to be used.

I suck at saving money. When I reach a certain amount, I feel I must buy things I want on eBay. I don't go as crazy as I used to, try and always have X amount in my bank account, but I digress, I could be more disciplined when it comes to saving money.

I think if there was enough inactivity, I would grow bored with my forum eventually, but I often read previous posts and look at previous codes I've posted on my board. With hundreds of codes posted, I can always reminisce when I first built them and even tinker with them if I wish.

It is probably overrated, but it is still my favorite film of all time. The first film probably doesn't have as much action as the next two. There is more war and stunning visuals in the two films after The Fellowship of the Ring. I agree that there can be a lot of walking around, but I've always been in love with the visuals of the films, the overall storyline, and the characters.

Doing awesome since I made a $28+ tip today doing DoorDash, being a little over $30 including base pay. That cuts the cake for my biggest tip thus far!

It's always nice to see a mental health forum on the up-rise, and people who care enough to support others and are strong enough to speak out about their issues. I applaud you for creating this forum, and the layout and overall atmosphere seem quite user-friendly. :)

Sometimes people leave small or no tip (thank God for base pay), but the majority are generous enough to leave a couple of dollars. The biggest tip I received so far was $30 due to a mishap on the customer's end, where I had to drive originally to her workplace and then to her house. I've received plenty of $10+ tips.

I, too, start by creating the structure, primarily the category/forum layout. I may proceed with webpages, such as board guidelines and other important information. After that, I'll likely start the coding process of getting a nice skin up and any necessary code deemed appropriate for my forum.

Having my board open for nearly 7 years so far feels like quite the feat of achievement for a Jcink board, not to mention the 2200+ members who have registered during that period. With generally 30+ new registrations monthly, I feel my board has become the local hub for Jcink board owners searching for forum resources.

To be honest, I didn't think I had heard of either one until I saw them discussed on Administrata. They sound like they were revolutionary for forums.

It's going to be an HBO original.

I used to use random usernames on old Yu-Gi-Oh message boards, but once I dived into creating message boards I started using my real name. I feel it conveys a sense of "you" instead of anonymity.
