Sidebars - Yes or No?
One thing I do is have an expand/collapse option for the sidebar, and voila! Users who don't like the sidebar can collapse it.

Technology can be a curse sometimes. A great tool, but a curse nonetheless.

Sidebars - Yes or No?
Is there a reason you're starting to do away with them?

I ate at Chili's recently with a $25 gift card I got for being an employee of the month at my workplace. This is the second time that's happened. :D

Your Most Recent Purchase
I didn't know you smoked, bro! 😯 The last non-food/drink purchase I made was a Yu-Gi-Oh tin can with 3 booster packs for $22.

Sidebars - Yes or No?
Do you think sidebars are a good way to relay information to users of your board? I think it's nice to have information in the header and footer, but sometimes those areas can be cluttered and hard to sift through the links you wish to access. A sidebar can help de-clutter those areas and make it more accessible, especially if you use a fixed sidebar that scrolls with the board. Of course, some administrators overdo the information sidebars contain and become cluttered, so keeping the sidebar information to a mid-tier minimum can be elegant.

Mobile Gaming
I downloaded the new Pokemon TCG Pocket app and it's pretty neat! This app is a nice alternative if you don't have the money to collect physical copies of TCG cards. I don't collect physical copies of Pokemon cards anymore, but I have thousands of Yu-Gi-Oh cards, so it would be cool to see an app like this for the Yu-Gi-Oh TCG too!

Forum Category Naming Process
My category names are generally generic. I don't think a board of my type needs extensive category names anyway. Usually, a word or two will describe the entirety of the category's purpose. I try not to use overly complex phrases and keep it simple.

Forums are not as popular as they once were.
If Google adds such a feature then I think it's apparent some forums are still booming.

Reddit is profitable for the first time ever, with nearly 100 million daily users
So, Reddit could only stay in business because the person behind it is rich?

How many forums have you had (and what where they)?
Brilliant! I'm sure that had good SEO rankings when people were pissed off. :ROFLMAO: In addition to my OP, I think my second forum wasn't even a "community", it was just an index of codes and skins found on the official InvisionFree Support board. Later on, the indexes were combined into "Big Boards," my largest resource board to date.

Why Choose a Forum Over Discord for Your Community?
Yes, it's very hard to undo what has already been done regarding data scraping. Most people search engines allow you to remove your data, but you usually have to go to great lengths to prove it is you.

What DOES NOT belong on a pizza?
Many would probably say pineapple, but I've never had a problem with Hawaiian-style pizza.

Why Choose a Forum Over Discord for Your Community?
All I know is there are sites like Spokeo and other people search websites where bots scrape your data from webpages to put into their database and full access is generally granted upon payment. I've searched my full name and other personal details on Google before to have these types of sites pop up with my personal information. They generally list your primary family relations in your results. I'm pretty sure Facebook gets scraped for personal data constantly to be placed on these websites. This is why you must be very careful about what sites you share your personal information online. I'm sure social media is the primary target for these bots to scrape the web for users' personal information. With today's internet technology, privacy is a thing of the past.
