1. I try and reply to a large percentage of topics on my board, but as Cedric said, if you can't relate to the topic then there's not much of a reason to post. I don't want a bunch of AI replies on my board that are from technology and not the human mind. For instance, I'm not much of a sports person, so I rarely post in the Sports forum on my forum.

Welcome to the board, we hope we can be of great assistance in your online community journey!
3. That's a good idea and could keep people coming back. I might try and start doing that, even if I suck at thinking of new topic ideas. I might have to use AI to help me think.

There's nothing like contributing to the beauty of nature, job well done! :D
5. Films: The Lord of the Rings, The Hobbit, Godzilla/Kong films, X-Men, The Avengers Series: Game of Thrones, House of the Dragon, Vikings (Valhalla), Black Sails
6. Please, and thank you!

900+ pieces for our truck tonight when it has been around 600 - 700 lately. I hope we have the room to fit everything!
8. Keeping the motivation in check at all times can be a tough challenge. Sometimes you feel like drifting off your forum due to a lack of motivation. This can often be caused by little activity from your user base, the feeling that you're the only one putting in the effort, and sometimes people will try and drag you down to their level and you feel like it's pointless catering to people who do not respect you as the forum owner.

I think that's most people's life goal, not a yearly goal. :)
10. I don't have a team as I'm flying solo and have been for years, so I suppose this question does not apply to me right now. I feel like I need administrators who are active, supportive, and all-around care for their community and staff involved. Administrators who are careless about their community or staff members aren't setting a good example and it feels as if they created the forum to blow their own steam or as a popularity contest. Dedication to many aspects of the forum can set a great tone as an administrator to your team members, it shows you are willing to go the distance to make your community thrive and stay alive.
11. Not to mention, people lack the motivation and drive to build communities these days where it's simple to create a social media page and add all of your friends and family and use that as their social hub. An online community can take consistent work and determination to keep alive. People don't always want to put in the work involved to make that dream come alive.
12. I uninstalled this now and may switch to the ChatGPT app on my iPhone again. I was trying to use it for research and got an error saying, "Sorry, you used all of your credits for today" even though I haven't touched the extension today, so it's apparent they want you to pay to use it.

All good points and that's crazily expensive for a mobile game, AAA or not. I would love to own a Steam Deck or Nintendo Switch over a smartphone that can play AAA games mainly due to the amount of games available on them. If AAA games were more abundant on smartphones, I wouldn't mind a tiny screen too much. But that has yet to be seen, as it's a newer technology.
14. I'm glad you feel that way, and thanks for the nomination. :) I'll nominate Shawn Gossman because he seems very involved with online communities and has experience with many different forum software.
15. How will this work for people who own a Google Chromebook like myself?

You can use different types of controllers on smartphones though. This is probably why I'm addicted to Pokemon GO.
17. 2 members away from 40 new registrations this month. I might beat my last record of 52.

Do you think this will be a popular way for people to game with their mobile phones, or will it fade away? Will it become as popular and content-rich as handheld gaming devices, or do you think it will never reach that level?

I think you're right! This year has seen amazing growth for jCodes! It is self-evident that the word has gotten out about one of the most active resource boards across the network that I'm aware of. As long as I keep pushing new resources to the board and adding or modifying existing features to the benefit of our user base, I think the growth will continue. Thanks for the feedback!
20. It has just been one IP address. Here was the forum software owner's reply:

We hit 2000 members this month and we are consistently growing every day. We are slowly building our way up to 18,000 posts! We are thinking of implementing a subscription service for users to be notified via email of new resources. See the topic in the Feedback forum for more details. Thanks to everyone who has partaken in the activities of jCodes or has even visited for that matter!
22. Great idea for a "modern-day" forum! I had the ChatGPT app downloaded on my iPhone, but I uninstalled it and installed a browser extension, "Sider", which runs off ChatGPT. I haven't fiddled with it much, but hopefully, I can learn a thing or two and obtain information. I wish you the best of luck with the re-grand opening!
23. I voted for mindsConnected because it's not every day you see a technology-related board, particularly on the software in use.
