I will probably watch this for the comedic relief. The first one was hilarious and I expect this one will be too. Though, I think The Waterboy was my favorite Adam Sandler film. It's amazing to think these films were originally released before I was a teenager.

I don't use social media, but I hope Bluesky continues to flourish if it remains a decent, civilized network. Too many social media networks these days have turned into toxic wastelands.

I've been getting on, but haven't been posting much until now, so I suppose I am fired too. 😅 Anywho, what are everyone's plans for New Year's Eve? It's me and the pups for New Year's Eve. Everyone else went to my grandmother's house. I didn't feel like playing games and would probably stare at my iPhone the entire time while everyone else was playing games, so I decided to stay behind and catch up on some forums and coding projects.

I don't believe I have taken a break while I was an administrator. Though taking a break while I wasn't administering a forum, I've taken time off due to illness, burnout, and not owning a community.

Happy New Year's to everyone! I hope you will reap the benefits Administrata has to bring in during 2025! Set some forum goals for yourself and know we are here to help your community grow and succeed!

I don't have any goals, statistically speaking, but I would like to release at least 6 new skins (conversions) as free resources available on my board in 2025, so that will give me 2 months to work on each skin. It's certainly doable, I have to find the time and motivation to accomplish it.

I've gained 507 new registrations, 579 new topics, and 2543 posts in 2024 alone. That is a great accomplishment for a forum of my type and I hope these stats will be even better in 2025. Here's to another year of great achievements in the forum universe!

I believe I've only had to sack staff for inactivity and no wrongdoing.

I prefer to be the judge as to whether someone is banned or not instead of restricted. It can be a tough decision, but as the board owner, I feel I must be the sheriff and not the police officer.

I often feel like I've exhausted most ideas for my board. Thankfully, some of my members have been very contributive in providing feedback and suggestions I could implement to improve the forum. So, at this point, I feel I highly depend on feedback from my user base to capture new ideas for my board.

Aside from the design part, I could build a website with enough inspiration and motivation behind the wheel. But alas, I have never owned a website. I've always run forums and haven't needed to build a website unless I wanted to try and profit from it. The closest thing I've made to a website is a basic portfolio to display my coding expertise and information to try and find a job.

Is the criticism in good faith and meant to be for the betterment of the community? I think I will take it with pleasure. Is the criticism downright hateful and degrading? I'll take it with a grain of salt.

What does everyone hope to receive for Christmas? :)

This is a very inspiring topic. I've wasted over half my life on being self-conscious of what people think about me. I was bullied a lot in school due to being the quiet/shy type and that made me even more self-conscious. I try not to let others destroy the reality of who I am, but sometimes I still see past visions or think past thoughts on how people have treated me. As I grow older and mature, I slowly realize what others think of me is meaningless. It's not their job to judge me and make me feel like I have to be a different person due to their judgment. Another human being's judgment is insignificant and it is not good to dwell on what they may think of you. You're the best judge of your character. No one can take that away from you.
