1. Chrome but I also have McAfee on here. It was free for a year, so I'm keeping it until it expires.
2. Just so you know. I get this message when I go to your forum:
3. He's one of the users I remember the most. I think he's one of my oldest forum acquaintances :D
4. I can attest to this. That's why I work hard to make my posts as good as I can. It doesn't necessarily have to be a long post, either. In fact, a few sentences are fine as long as it sparks engagement. Engagement is king, anymore.

Welcome :)

Welcome to the community :) You'll love it here!
7. The only new features for WP that I look forward to it making it lighter and faster.
8. Heh. I'm at 9 forums, 6 of them I'm serious about. 4 blogs. Upcoming 2 podcasts A YouTube channel and multiple daily post social media channels. I'm also the community manager at Copyblogger. As long as I can get 6 hours of sleep each night! :D
9. IRC

I've not used Discord that much. I guess I need to. But it's more private right whereas IRC has a lot of random channels anyone can be a part of. I've not heard of Matrix.

Personal: I want to get some debt paid off. I'm not in extreme debt but I need to get some of it under control. Brand: I want to get my YouTube channel to 10K subscribers. I'm at around 6K now. I'd like to get my Facebook page to 50K followers. I hit 21K the other day. I want to get some passive income things started with it. Other: I want to start some passive income projects with Serious Bloggers. I also want to launch a few podcasts. And of course, bike and hike more and try to shed some pounds.
11. In all of my websites and forums, probably around $3,000 a year. I earn about $15K-$20K a year from online stuff. I'm ahead :)

I'd be fine with $10K! The most I've won on a scratch off ticket was $1,000 which was still cool. It was a $30 ticket.
13. Pretty nice. But... I use DIVI and the classic editor plugin so the new features don't do a lot for me. It's on my list to get good at the WP editor but I've yet to try it LOL
14. I've been trying to at least invest a few hours a day on each of my forums. I'll login and post a few new topics, reply to any new posts, welcome new members, and moderate if needed. On the weekends, I get outdoors and do my hiking/biking/outdoor stuff. So, I don't post as much. But I think that's important to have other things to do and take a slight break here and there. In my younger days, I practically lived on my forums.
15. I'm open to anything, really. I won't allow adult-rated stuff or anything illegal. Politics and religion are fine as long as people act responsible about it. I usually won't reply to those posts but sometimes I get an itch and do it, LOL. I used to be very political - nowadays, I really try to be apolitical.

It's pretty neat. Not as active as it used to be, though.

Does anyone still use IRC? I downloaded mIRC tonight, registered it, and now I'm chatting on DALnet. The memories are flooding in. I used IRC before I started using forums!!
19. That's my curse, brother!
20. Loyalty in online communities is important because it will advance your forum from a small community to a larger community used by people who want to be around each other. Loyalty is how you make a forum become an active community. Community is different than a forum. A forum is a platform, while community is people who resonate with one another and have relationships. How are you all building loyalty in your online communities?
21. My first forum (phpBB1 and then soon after v2 after it got released) was about gothic culture. Please don't laugh. I was a weird teenager. LOL. I can't even remember what it was called. But I remember the phpBB2 theme was really cool. I also made a forum about WebTV tricks and secrets. But once I upgraded to an actual computer, I didn't stick with it for too long.
