Steve Jobs on the most important job of a CEO
The greatest people are self-managing. They don’t need to be managed. Once they know what to do, they’ll go figure out how to do it… What they need is a common vision, and that’s what leadership is. Leadership is having a vision, being able to articulate that so the people around you can understand it, and getting consensus on a common vision.” Steve continues: “We wanted people who were insanely great at what they did… and the neatest thing that happens when you get a core group ten great people is that it becomes self-policing as to who they let into that group. So I consider the most important job of someone like myself is recruiting.”

9 Harsh Truths About Success No One Tells You (Save this for when the grind gets real) We often think success looks like a straight line... But here’s what really happens behind the scenes: 1/ Overnight Success is Rare ↳ Most people work for years before they see results. ↳ Real success is built slowly, one step at a time. 2/ Hard Work is Just One Piece ↳ It’s not enough to hustle – strategy and timing matter too. ↳ Working smart is as important as working hard. 3/ Motivation Comes and Goes ↳ You won’t feel inspired every day, and that’s okay. ↳ Discipline is what keeps you going when motivation fades. 4/ Passion Doesn’t Always Equal Happiness ↳ Following your passion has highs and lows. ↳ It’s worth it, but don’t expect it to be easy. 5/ Failure is Part of the Process ↳ Every setback is a lesson – embrace it. ↳ Success is built on the back of failures. 6/ Rejection is Inevitable ↳ You’ll hear “no” more times than you can count. ↳ But every “no” brings you closer to the right “yes.” 7/ Sacrifices are Necessary ↳ Time, comfort, and even relationships are often compromised. ↳ Growth comes at a cost – make sure it’s worth it. 8/ Balance is a Constant Battle ↳ Highs are followed by lows, wins by setbacks. ↳ Success is learning to ride the waves. 9/ Success is a Journey, Not a Destination ↳ There’s no final “I made it” moment – just the next goal. ↳ Embrace the process and keep evolving. Which reality hits home for you? For me, #5 has been a game-changer. ------ Success is about resilience, not perfection.- How to load your websites at lightning speed
How to load your websites at lightning speed? These 8 tips can help you boost the frontend performance of your website’s speed: 1 - Compression Compress files and minimize data size before transmission to reduce network load. 2 - Selective Rendering/Windowing Display only visible elements to optimize rendering performance. For example, in a dynamic list, only render visible items. 3 - Modular Architecture with Code Splitting Split a bigger application bundle into multiple smaller bundles for efficient loading. 4 - Priority-Based Loading Prioritize essential resources and visible (or above-the-fold) content for a better user experience. 5 - Pre-loading Fetch resources in advance before they are requested to improve loading speed. 6 - Tree Shaking or Dead Code Removal Optimize the final JS bundle by removing dead code that will never be used. 7 - Pre-fetching Proactively fetch or cache resources that are likely to be needed soon. 8 - Dynamic Imports Load code modules dynamically based on user actions to optimize the initial loading times. That’s true. It’s vital to try to actively promote your forum in as many avenues as you can. Even releasing a press release about your forum can help a lot. I don’t think there’s such a thing as posting too much. As forum owners, it’s our duty to keep our forums active. If we’re not leading by example, how can we expect our members to engage?
