  1. Reddit dominates the search engines, so it’s quite valuable building backlinks on their platform.
  2. this only applies if you’re using wordpress not only software. It’s a great idea to stick with hosting providers that take daily backups, then download those backups and move them to your own private drive like Google drive or dropbox.

  5. I’m glad prices are much better now. It makes expanding and growing easier for us as forum owners, instead of constantly worrying about costs like we did in the past. Plus, cloud offerings are a lot more accessible now compared to back then. What provider did you use for your VPS? I had my dedicated server with Liquidweb.
  6. I always check my notifications, then the news posts tab followed by my messages & email.
  7. Do you have any karma? Their systems are kind of weird. They generally place new users under a shadow ban for a week or two before their posts start to appear. Then once you start gaining karma, your posts won’t get auto deleted.
  8. I think it would be cool to have the ability to fly anywhere.

Congratulations bro! Keep up the great work!
  12. As a staff member, I help promote the communities that I’m apart of. It’s something that I like to do as I like to see the communities that I’m staff on grow and expand.
  13. How’s that coming along? Have you seen any new members from advertising on there?
  14. Keep up the great work! 😃
  15. It’s usually also income based, so if your site is generating a lot of revenue, then you do the math x12 or x24. So, you’ll multiply your monthly income by the months and then determine the sales price.
  16. If you can’t sell your own products, it’s best to become an affiliate for a shop like Amazon or clickbank. It’s a lot easier to run a shop that way.
  17. It depends what I’m writing about and if the subject requires further research. However, a lot of times I like to read books and come up with different ideas & concepts. Competitor research is vital, especially when it comes to understanding how they’re ranking, from backlink analysis to keyword structure. It’s also important to identify which keywords have the highest search volume and which ones are likely to drive the most monthly traffic.

  20. How many forums have you seen thrive without an off topic section? Neogaf has an off topic area and they’re one of the largest gaming forums. https://www.neogaf.com/ I’d say about 95% of online communities have an off topic area and if they don’t, they’re not that active. If forums strived without them, then we’d see other of forums using them.

  22. I came across this awesome beginner’s guide and thought it might help anyone here who’s been thinking about making their own personal or hobby website but isn’sure where to start. It’s called Make Your Own Website by PixelShannon, and it’’s designed specifically for beginners who want to create a hand-crafted site without getting overwhelmed. What I really like about this guide is that it explains different ways you can build your site from super beginner-friendly website builders to more hands-on coding options. So whether you want something quick and easy or you’re ready to dive into HTML and CSS, it gives you a clear starting point. https://web.pixelshannon.com/
