I actually only have a degree in marketing communications and a propaedeutic diploma in Informatics. ;) And, to be fair, I never looked at someone's educational achievements whenever I was involved in the hiring process for creative positions. I (and pretty much every company I ever worked at) mostly look at your portfolio instead. I was lucky to get a job as a creative developer after completing a 6-month voluntary internship as a designer / frontend developer. After switching jobs a couple of times, I ended up at the company I currently work at. I began as a creative developer here as well, but over the years, my role changed due to new projects, my skillset and the team's growth, ultimately leading me to my current position as a creative director. Also - while it may seem like I have 5 roles in 1, that isn't really the case. I do work on most projects myself because I enjoy actually designing / developing things myself, but my main responsibility is just to ensure that things get done (and that everything that goes out aligns with our brand, of course) - whether I do it myself or delegate it to someone else, whether inside or outside the company.

Best of luck to all applicants. :)
5. I don't really care since I add transaction fees to the order total for payment methods other than direct bank transfers.
6. Human-written content, obviously. Especially blog entries and forum posts actually annoy the crap out of me if I see they're written by AI. AI should be used as a tool - not to do all the work. I even see it happening on here.
7. Do you have too much time on your hands? I honestly don't see why you're trying so hard if nobody else is - it is a proper waste of time. The owner is obviously not committed to running the community (anymore). Of course, that can happen in what, 5 years? However, it does not seem like he is planning to get a second (active) administrator or sell it to someone genuinely interested in the community for a realistic amount of money. Also, as some of the members already asked if he would sell the forum, they seem to be very interested in having the type of community it is around. There's a good chance that if you'd create your own community instead, they would actually follow you there.

Some new switches: the HMX Xinhai and the HMX Sunset Gleams. Currently trying the Xinhais, which I'm really enjoying so far, but I'll try the Sunset Gleams once they arrive as well. While the Xinhais came in a matte black bag which was kind of boring to be fair, the Sunset Gleams seem to come in a fun box :P:

While I definitely want to go somewhere, but nothing is certain yet. However, I recently talked with my friend from the US and he mentioned that he would like to fly over so we can do the trip we discussed last year. He has never been to Europe before, so for 1 - 2 days we'd just somewhere here in the Netherlands, after which we would go to Greece (and visit Turkey on a day trip just because it's possible haha), return to the Netherlands for a day, and then go to Disneyland Paris by train (as he has never been on a train for some reason). That way I don't have to drive all the way to France either and he will be able to fly back from France (which is convenient because flying from here is either more expensive, or you need to get on a different plane in either Paris or London). So yeah, we might just do this somewhere between September and October. :) I might also go on a surprise trip, where you will only know where you're going around a day before you're actually leaving, to celebrate a 15-year friendship. Or well, I know I'm going - just not sure when. Probably somewhere around April or May.
11. Agreed! Some basic modern styling would be nice. I also found myself clicking on 'x days ago by x' instead of the actual topic. I feel like it should be placed below the topic that was posted in. Overall the layout does not feel very intuitive (to me, at least).
12. I personally like the first one better. Looking forward to see the result regardless of which one you decide to use. :)

Born in '93. I remember everyone was worried about computers / data loss / etc. when we would go from '99 to '01, haha. Oh, and also, I remember my whole family being so worried for my aunt who was supposed to be at the WTC for a meeting on 9/11 '01, and no one could reach her that day... but she had missed her flight because she had forgotten her passport, so she wasn't there when it happened. Turned out she simply did not pick up her phone because she got on a different plane because of that and it was like an 11-hour flight. Things I loved growing up: Playing outside - I had to return home when the street lights would turn on. Building hangouts, playing ball games, skating, etc. Playing games on my PlayStation 1, N64, Gameboy Color (Pokemon Blue was my first game) / GBA, GameCube, etc. Playing around on my computer (my dad gave me one really early, it was a Packard Bell PC). I'd play games on floppy disks, Rollercoaster Tycoon, RuneScape, etc. - and of course Mine Sweeper and Pinball haha. Later, Rayman 2 came out, and I absolutely loved that game (and to be fair, I think it looked great for that time) Being at home every Wednesday afternoon Summer break, of course! Making my own music CD's (and creating my own CD stickers/covers - which obviously were very ugly haha) Watching the first series of Pokemon Being able to go ice skating outside during winter (you really shouldn't even try nowadays ...)
15. If you don't frequently develop WP websites for clients or make (enough) money from your own websites, you may find that the prices of plugins and themes for WordPress can be quite high for what you use them for, whether you opt for an annual or lifetime license. However, with this installation and activation service, you can help lower the initial and/or maintenance costs of your WordPress site(s). :) Payments are made through PayPal. -- Bricks Builder installation & activation Lifetime updates included Get Bricks Builder, one of the most innovative and powerful website builders available right now, installed on your Wordpress website. 🤩 It is fast and it will give you the cleanest code output of all current builders. Bricks will be activated with a legitimately purchased LTD license, which means that it will not expire and you will be able to update the files files right from your WP dashboard. Who is Bricks for? Bricks is more or less aimed at more advanced users and it will greatly benefit you if you have experience coding webpages by hand, as well as at least a basic understanding of how WordPress functions work. If you know how to write PHP, you will love how you can insert PHP code right into the editor. It is very developer-friendly. A good use case for Bricks? You designed something in Figma and you wish to turn this design into a fast, clean WordPress theme. However, if you're not experienced with builders/development, you will still be able to build websites using this builder. :) Price: $15 -- ACF Pro installation & activation Lifetime updates included Who uses WordPress and has never heard of ACF Pro? If you're a WP developer, you'll definitely want to have ACF Pro! It makes creating custom fields an absolute breeze, along with some other useful features. ACF Pro will be installed with a legitimately purchased LTD license (which, by the way, cannot be purchased anymore since 2020!). Price: $15 -- Bricks + ACF Pro installation & activation Lifetime updates included Would you like to get both? Then there is a small discount. :D Price: $25 Please note that I will not provide you with the activation key(s) (selling the keys is not allowed). This is an installation service (which is what you're paying for, along with the activation key) and I will manually enter the key(s). I suggest creating a temporary admin account.
