  1. My WhatsApp is a good place to promote my skills. My status and different Whatsapp groups have gone a long way in securing clients for me.
  2. Has social media improved human communication though? I doubt it. More like it has succeeded in drawing people away from real life communication.
  3. As someone actively involved in writing gigs, it is important that I read books very frequently to increase my creativity and improve my grammar. So I try to read everyday. It doesn't have to take long, even a few pages can be fulfilling.
  4. Listening to my clients has also proven to be an effective means of communication. Hearing what they have to stay, even if it doesn't make much sense, can give me insights into what they are expecting from me.
  5. I am aware of my capabilities and the amount of work I can take on. So once I realize that taking up a gig will take its toll on me and lead to burnout, I'll just let it pass.
  6. I always try to stay online as often as possible so as to be able to provide swift responses in case potential clients reach out to me. The freelancing world is saturated now, you snooze you lose 👎
