With choices of WordPress, Drupal and Joomla, it gives us a variety to choose from but not knowing the pros and cons could affect someone's decision on which one to use. When it comes to WordPress, Drupal and Joomla, what would you say are the pros and cons of each?

Those looking for copywriting services seem to be quite high and I often wondered why some writers do not always offer services for this kind of writing being it seems to be quite popular. I always remember you used to see hand sanitiser everywhere. Every shop you went into had it at the door and they would push for you to use it before entering the store, now I barely see it and the signs that would encourage people to sanitize are no longer there. I have always said that word-of-mouth is one of the best marketing tools that is effective and works. I remember one time, I was hired by someone to create a graphic for their business, I was quite happy to take on the task and work hard on it but it wasn't until I delivered the work that I got feedback and the feedback was a spelling mistake I had made and had not noticed. I was frustrated at myself for not proofreading what I had put on the graphic to avoid spelling mistakes. Luckily it was an easy fix and also taught me to always proofread.

My favourite design tool for the longest time was GIMP, I have been using GIMP for quite some time now when I found out about it being a free alternative to Photoshop. A few years ago now though I was introduced to Canva by someone I knew in the video game content creation world and I have since been using Canva both the free and premium parts of Canva for a few years now. I would go as far as to say that Canva is my new favourite design tool.

I have never seen any issues with using a free tool to design and charge the client who you are doing the work for. Even though the tool you are using may not cost anything, you are still using your time and your skills to create the design you create and you shouldn't feel guilty charging for those.

When it comes to any kind of design, colour is very important, especially if you are looking to get a message out to your target audience. Designs can be used for all kinds of things from marketing to even trying to get a message out and colour depending on how it is used can be a great way to make the most important messages stand out.

These are some great tips. There is no better way to gain more clients and even potential customers than having a portfolio that showcases your work so they can see exactly what they will get should they choose to hire you and become a client.
