I can't say I have hired paid posters for my forums but I do know of people who do. If you hire paid posters over a long period or have an agreement in place, it can help a lot.

Post exchanges are a great way to get started when you start a new forum and get content within the forum but I don't believe they should be used long term to help keep a forum active.

I am not against seeing Google Ads on forums as long as they are minimal and do not take over the forum or ruin the experience.

The last forum I visited before this one was Discussion Hub.

If a forum I was using I was a regular member of and I had high hopes in their success, I would consider helping by donating.

I have been known to in the past use post packages for activity but will admit, I don't use them as much as I used to anymore.

I started using forums at the age of 18.

My favourite forum software at the moment would have to be Xenforo!

My favourite thing about using forums is being able to make new people and chat about the things I enjoy. When it comes to running or owning a forum, I would have to say that I enjoy being able to create a community where people feel welcomed and feel they can be themselves.
